    摘要: An unequal helix-angle end mill includes a cutting part and a handle part. The cutting part is provided with a plurality of flutes, each spirally extending from the bottom end to the handle part. The face of each flute facing the cutting rotation direction is a rake face, wherein the rake face and an outer peripheral face of the cutting part are intersected to form an outer peripheral blade, and the helix-angle of at least one of the peripheral blades is different from those of the other peripheral blades. A face joined with the peripheral blade among the outer peripheral face of the cutting part is a rear face. The width B of the edge flap of each peripheral blade is equal on a plane orthogonal to a rotating axis of the end mill. The unequal helix-angle end mill has high strength, and enhances the cutting depth and durability.

    摘要: Methods and apparatus for efficiently enabling firmware associated with a flash memory card to be updated are disclosed. According to one aspect of the present invention, a method for updating firmware associated with a memory storage device includes providing new firmware to a host and sending the new firmware from the host to a reader which communicates with the host. The reader interfaces with the memory storage device which includes installed firmware. The method also includes sending the new firmware from the reader to the memory storage device, and incorporating the new firmware into the memory storage device such that the new firmware at least partially replaces the installed firmware. In one embodiment, the method further includes embedding the new firmware into a first command. In such an embodiment, sending the new firmware from the host to the reader includes sending the first command from the host to the reader.

The timing offset estimation apparatus includes: a pilot bit channel estimation module, configured to acquire pilot bit frequency-domain channel estimation values of target users through calculation on respective sub-carriers of the target users according to received frequency-domain demodulation reference symbols and local frequency-domain demodulation reference symbols; and a timing offset estimation module, configured to respectively perform timing offset estimation for each target user by using phase differences among the pilot bit frequency-domain channel estimation values on the respective sub-carriers. The present invention performs timing offset estimation for multiple users on the basis of the received pilot sequences, therefore provides more accurate measurement values for timing offset compensation and timing offset reporting, so as to reduce the influence of the timing offset on the receiver performance.
