    Abstract: A speech control system includes a first client running on a mobile terminal, a server end running on a server, and a second client running on a controlled terminal. The first client obtains identity information of a user, and sends the identity information of the user to the server end. The server end verifies the identity information of the user. The first client further collects speech data of the user, generates a speech control request based on the speech data, and sends the speech control request to the server end. When verification on the identity information succeeds, the server end generates a control instruction based on the speech control request, and sends the control instruction to the second client. The second client indicates the controlled terminal to execute the control instruction.

    Abstract: This application provides a polar encoding and modulation method and apparatus, and a demodulation and decoding method and apparatus. In the polar encoding and modulation method, a probability shaping technology is combined with a polar code, to group to-be-encoded bit sequences, and probability shaping is performed on a group of bit sequences. Modulation and mapping are directly performed on all bit sequences obtained through probability shaping, and polar transformation is performed on some bit sequences obtained through probability shaping together with other groups of bit sequences for modulation and mapping. In the demodulation and decoding method, a modulation symbol sequence is demodulated and decoded, a part of obtained bit sequence is directly mapped to obtain a second bit sequence, and the other part is continuously decoded to obtain a first bit sequence.

    Abstract: A data transmission method and apparatus are described. The method includes a receive end receiving a first parameter, where the first parameter includes a parameter of a probability distribution of a hidden variable. The hidden variable is obtained by encoding first data by using an encoder of a variational auto-encoder. The receive end determines the probability distribution based on the first parameter, and samples the probability distribution M times to obtain M pieces of sampled data, where M is a positive integer. The receive end reconstructs the first data based on the M pieces of sampled data. According to the described data transmission method and apparatus, the first parameter is transmitted, so that the receive end can support a plurality of times of sampling, thereby reducing an amount of data transmitted over an air interface, and reducing data transmission overhead.

Side information is generated based on the first phase rotation factor and the second phase rotation factor.     Abstract: This application discloses a data transmission method, apparatus, and system. The method includes: generating a to-be-sent bit sequence, where the to-be-sent bit sequence includes one or more bits in a bit sequence having a length of (N−M), where N is a length of a mother code for polar encoding, M is a length of encoded bits obtained after rate matching is performed on a bit sequence having a length of N, N is m raised to the power of an integer, m is a positive integer greater than 1, M is a positive integer, and N>M; and sending the generated bit sequence. A corresponding apparatus and system are further disclosed.     Abstract: This application provides a method for communicating a modulation and coding scheme (MCS). A terminal device obtains a modulation order, a code rate, or a spectral efficiency, determines an index of a reference MCS from a mapping table based on the obtained modulation order, code rate, or spectral efficiency, and reports the index of the reference MCS to a network device. The mapping table includes one or more mapping relationships between an MCS index and a modulation order, a code rate, or a spectral efficiency. The terminal device may process uplink or downlink data based on the determined MCS, thereby improving data transmission reliability.
