    Abstract: This application provides an information indication method and an apparatus. In this application, a sending apparatus generates and sends a first frame, the first frame includes at least one piece of sub-time resource indication information, and each piece of sub-time resource indication information is in a one-to-one correspondence with one of at least one response apparatus. In addition, each piece of sub-time resource indication information includes a time resource at which the corresponding response apparatus sends feedback information for the first frame to the sending apparatus and a time resource at which the sending apparatus sends acknowledgment information for the feedback information to the corresponding response apparatus, so that the at least one response apparatus and the sending apparatus that sends the first frame can simultaneously perform beamforming training, thereby improving effectiveness of beamforming training performed on the sending apparatus and the at least one response apparatus.

    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide for methods and systems for Sub-codebook based Trellis Coded Quantization for CSI Feedback. An aspect of the disclosure provides method executed by a receiver. The method includes receiving a signal from a transmitter, via a communication channel between the receiver and the transmitter. The method further includes estimating parameters associated with the channel based on the received signal. The method further includes obtaining phase information from the estimated parameters. The method further includes applying a trellis coded quantization (TCQ) scheme to the obtained phase information by mapping each sub-codebook index of a set of sub-codebook indices to output bits of each trellis branch making the distance between sub-codebooks maximally equal. The method further includes transmitting a channel state information (CSI) measurement feedback to the transmitter, the CSI measurement feedback based on the TCQ scheme and comprising one or more of: a beginning state, input bits to the TCQ scheme, and a sub-codebook index.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application relate to the communications field, and in particular, to an information sending/receiving method and apparatus in the communications field. The information receiving method includes: determining an information receiving time based on any two of a time division duplex sector sweep acknowledgement frame count index, a count index, and a time division duplex sector sweep frame count index, duration of a time division duplex sector sweep frame, and duration of a time division duplex sector sweep acknowledgement frame; and receiving information at the determined information receiving time. According to the information receiving/sending method provided in the embodiments of this application, the information sending apparatus can send information at an accurate information sending time, the information receiving apparatus can receive the information at an accurate information receiving time, and system communication can be normally performed.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for emulating Full Duplex (FD) transmissions between two or more devices by way of out-of-band Full Duplex communication, also known as Frequency Division Duplexing-Full Duplex (FDD-FD) communication. FD communication refers to a wireless communication device being able to transmit and receive communications at the same time. In out-of-band FD communication, a first communication channel is used for transmitting a first communication in one direction and a second communication channel is used for simultaneously transmitting a second communication in the reverse direction. Examples relate to management frames for managing channel availability and channel selection for implementing the out-of-band FD communication. An example wi-fi management frame includes an identification of both the first channel for the wireless communication device to transmit on, and the second channel for the wireless communication device to simultaneously receive on.

    Abstract: An aspect of the disclosure provides a wireless frame transmission method. Such a method includes duplicating a preamble in the frequency domain to form at least one duplicate preamble, each preamble having multiple fields. The method further includes puncturing at least one of the preamble fields in the preamble with a first puncturing pattern and puncturing corresponding preamble fields in the at least one duplicate preamble with at least one additional puncturing pattern. The method further includes transmitting a frame including the preamble, the at least one duplicate preamble and a payload. In some embodiments the preamble and the duplicate preambles are each at different frequencies.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatus for facilitating wireless communication using digital Quadrature Amplitude Modulation are disclosed. A mapping module electronic component of a wireless communication device utilizes a signal constellation for quadrature modulating a signal for transmission or quadrature demodulating a received signal. The signal constellation includes multiple constellation symbols and associated bit sequences. Specific signal constellations are disclosed. The signal constellations may be obtained through an optimization procedure which accounts for both phase noise and power amplifier nonlinearity.
