摘要: A wiping apparatus for a print head for wiping a head surface of the print head by rubbing the same with a blade is provided that includes a wiping box having a top open area; a blade support having the blade fastened thereto and disposed in an upper part of the wiping box so as to be rotatable between a wiping position at which a tip of the blade points upwards and a storage position at which the tip of the blade points downwards; leakproof plates fastened to the blade support for closing the top open area of the wiping box while the blade is in a state of the storage position; and a cleaning liquid nozzle disposed in the wiping box so that it is directed towards the blade in the storage position.

摘要: An electrophotographic printer in which a photoconductor drum and a transfer drum can be supported in a simple component construction and in the makeup free from misalignment and development of thrust load. To this end, an electrophotographic printer comprising a photoconductor drum (1) and a transfer drum (2) is provided in which each of the photoconductor and transfer drums is fitted on a drum body (12, 13) so as to be extractable therefrom towards a front side, the shaft at a back side of the drum body being supported in a cantilever fashion by a bearing unit (16) supported on a main frame (F1) at the back side; the shaft at the front side of the drum body is supported by a movable bearing (17, 18) which comprises a shaft holding cylinder (24) axially extractable from the shaft and a housing (22, 23) supporting the shaft holding cylinder via a bearing (30); two such movable shafts are supported on a swingable frame (21) mounted so as to be swingable on a main frame (F2) at the front side; and the housing (23) of the movable bearing for the transfer drum and the housing (31) of the bearing unit supporting the shaft at the back side of the drum body for the transfer drum are housings decentered from the transfer drum so that angularly displacing the housings makes the transfer drum movable towards and away from the photoconductor drum.

摘要: In a printing machine, it is enabled to prevent continuous paper from being broken when the continuous paper is initially fed through a path of its conveyance.The paper conveying apparatus is provided that the path of conveyance of continuous paper 1 is provided with a first, a second and a third feed roll unit 5, 6 and 7, having their respective feed rates which when continuous paper is printed on and machined are controlled to increase in the order of the feed roll units to generate a proper amount of tension imparted thereto and which when the continuous paper is initially fed through the path are controlled to decrease in the order of the feed roll units so as not to generate tension whereby the continuous paper is prevented from being broken in the course of initial paper threading in the printing machine.

摘要: A waste removing method capable of easily carrying out a waste removing operation to peel a label sheet waste off a base sheet. A label sheet 4b of label paper 4 being conveyed along a path of label paper conveyance 1 is formed with a cut line 4h for peeling-off; an upstream side portion 4i of label sheet bordered and starting with the cut line 4h is peeled off a base sheet 4a, and the portion of label sheet 4b peeled off is carried to and wound onto a waste take-up member 20 whereby winding the peeled-off portion of label sheet 4b onto the waste take-up member 20 causes a label sheet waste 4g of succeeding label paper 4 to be peeled off the base sheet 4a and taken up onto the waste take-up member. The waste removing operation can be carried out automatically.

摘要: A toner supplier apparatus 1 is provided for stabilizing the concentration of toner reserved in a main tank. A concentration sensor for measuring the concentration of the toner is provided in a toner-feeding pipeway for supplying liquid toner from a main tank for adjusting the concentration to the developer apparatus. High concentration toner and diluent supplied to the main tank are controlled based on the concentration measured by the concentration sensor. Accordingly, accuracy of the toner supplier apparatus used for an electronic photograph printer in measuring the concentration of the toner can be improved, thereby permitting accurate control for the concentration in a printed image.

摘要: A photoconductor drum cleaning apparatus in an electrophotographic printer is disclosed which is simple in makeup, which allows a wiping roll to be rotated to follow rotation of the photoconductor drum is rotated and to be serviced for a prolonged life and is capable of performing an improved cleaning operation. To this end, the photoconductor drum 1 comprises: disposed in order from upstream in the direction of the photoconductor drum, a blade scraper 11 contacting with the surface of the rotating photoconductor drum and a wiping roll 12 rotating reversely in rubbing contact with the surface of the rotating photoconductor drum; disposed upstream of an area of rubbing contact of the rotating wiping roll with the photoconductor drum, a squeezing roll 13 rotating normally in pressure contact with the surface of the rotating wiping roll; and disposed downstream of an area of rubbing contact of the rotating wiping roll with the photoconductor drum and upstream of the rotating squeeze roll, a brush roll 14 rotating normally or reversely in pressure contact with the surface of the rotating wiping roll, the brush roll having a portion of its outer periphery immersed in a cleaning carrier solution.
