    Abstract: Example radio access methods, user equipment (UE), and base stations are described. One example method includes sending, by a base station, N first signal sets, where one first signal set is sent on each first space resource, where M first signal sets in the N first signal sets are second signal sets, and where each of the M second signal sets includes indication information. The indication information indicates that system messages are to be sent on M second space resources or that M first space resources on which the second signal sets are to be sent are valid space resources. In such instances, M and N are positive integers, and M is less than or equal to N. The base station can then send M system messages on the M second space resources, where the M system messages are used to instruct one or more UEs to access a network.

    Abstract: The embodiments of the present invention provide a demodulation reference signal processing method, a base station and a user equipment. A processing method includes: generating, by a base station, a DMRS corresponding to an E-PDCCH by using information that is available before a UE receives the E-PDCCH sent by the base station; and mapping, by the base station, the DMRS onto a time-and-frequency resource corresponding to a downlink control channel region and used for transmitting a reference signal, and sending the DMRS to the UE. In the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present invention, the base station and the UE no longer use an SCID for generating the DMRS, which solves the problem that the UE cannot obtain the SCID before receiving the E-PDCCH and cannot generate the DMRS, and further, cannot demodulate the E-PDCCH, and enables demodulation of the E-PDCCH.

In the method, a terminal device generates a first codeword, where the first codeword is obtained based on a second codeword, a quantity of elements included in the second codeword is greater than a quantity of elements included in the first codeword, the second codeword is associated with a first coefficient set of a downlink channel, and the first coefficient set includes an element included in at least one row vector or column vector of a first coefficient matrix; and then the terminal device feeds back the first codeword to a network device.
