Abstract:
The present invention discloses for the ability for processing circuit switched (CS) services in an evolved packet network. For example, embodiments provide a method that includes: by a mobility management entity (MME), receiving a mobile terminated (MT) service indication from a mobile switching center (MSC); sending the MT service indication to user equipment (UE); and receiving an MT service response returned by the UE and performing subsequent operations according to the MT service response. In the method of the present invention, when an MT service arrives, the MME does not trigger the evolved NodeB (eNodeB) to hand over the packet switched (PS) services of the UE but notifies the UE of the MT service and performs subsequent operations according to the MT service response returned by the UE, thus avoiding the waste of network resources caused by a meaningless handover of PS services.
Abstract:
A method, an apparatus, and a system for paging processing and information displaying are disclosed. The paging processing method includes: receiving a paging request message from a Mobile Switching Center (MSC) which a called User Equipment (UE) registers to; and when the called UE is connected, sending a paging notification message to the called UE, and returning a called-UE paging status message to the MSC. In the embodiments of the present invention, after the Mobility Management Entity (MME) receives the paging request message from the MSC, if the called UE is connected, the MME not only sends a Circuit-Switched (CS) paging notification message to the called UE, but also returns a paging status message to the MSC, indicating that the called UE has received the paging notification message.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method, an apparatus and a system for data connection management. The method for data connection management includes: obtaining, by a user equipment UE, first instruction information, wherein the first instruction information is used for instructing to close or open a data connection; and transmitting, by the UE, the first instruction information to a packet data network gateway P-GW, for enabling the P-GW to stop or start data transmission of at least one bearer of the UE according to the first instruction information.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a method, an apparatus, and a method for online subscription data configuration. This method for online subscription data configuration includes: acquiring, by a subscription data configuration function device (SMF), equipment capability information of a user equipment (UE) and information of a service supported by the UE; generating, by the SMF, user subscription data according to the equipment capability information of the UE and the information of service supported by the UE, and generating user service subscription data according to the information of the service supported by the UE; where the user subscription data and the user service subscription data include an international mobile subscriber identity (IMSI) allocated to the UE by the SMF; performing, by the SMF, subscription data configuration on a home subscriber server (HSS) and a subscription profile repository (SPR), according to the user subscription data and the user service subscription data.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a fault detection method. The method includes discovering that a fault occurs in a DNS server or a service server related to a UE, and performing, by a gateway, fault detection on the DNS server or the service server. The method also includes, after the fault is rectified, instructing the UE to establish a connection to the DNS server or the service server. Correspondingly, the embodiments of the present invention further provide a gateway, a UE, and a communications system.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method, where the method includes: determining, by a management network element, a first P-GW to be re-allocated and adjustment type information of the first P-GW, and obtaining an identity of a PMNO corresponding to the first P-GW; obtaining, according to the obtained identity of the PMNO and a stored correspondence between an identity of a PMNO and a P-GW, resource information of a P-GW corresponding to the PMNO; and adjusting, according to the adjustment type information of the first P-GW and the resource information of the P-GW corresponding to the PMNO and based on that a sum of throughput upper limits of P-GWs corresponding to the PMNO is equal to a total throughput value of the PMNO, a throughput upper limit configured for the first P-GW and a throughput upper limit configured for another P-GW corresponding to the PMNO.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a data transmission method, device, and system. A terminal device determines whether a data volume of uplink data to be sent is less than a preset data volume threshold. If the data volume of the uplink data to be sent is less than the preset data volume threshold, the terminal device establishes an RRC connection to a base station and sends an RRC connection completion message that carries the uplink data to the base station, so that the base station sends the uplink data to an MME by using a signaling message between the base station and the MME. The MME further sends the uplink data to a corresponding application server by using a signaling message between the MME and a P-CSCF.
Abstract:
Embodiments provide a load balancing method and device. The method includes acquiring, by a first device, a load status of an MVNO that shares mobility management network elements. The method also includes performing, by the first device, load balancing among the mobility management network elements according to the load status of the MVNO. According to the embodiments herein, load balancing can be implemented when an MVNO and an MNO share a network resource.
Abstract:
A first message is sent by an MSC/VLR and it is determined that a user equipment is in an abnormal state according to the first message. A second message is sent to the user equipment. The second message is used to instruct the user equipment to initiate attachment to the MSC/VLR. An apparatus includes a receiving module, a first determining module and a sending module.
