The insualtive housing includes a base portion, a first tongue and a second tongue. The metallic shell comprises a shielding member (31) and an outer shell (32) combined with the shielding member, the outer shell has a continued portion (322) and a T-shaped fixing portion (323) both integrally extending backwardly from two opposing sides thereof, the fixing portion has a clipping portion (3232) extending along a transverse direction on a free end thereof, and opposite free ends of the clipping portion are bent towards each other to clamp the cable while pressing on the continued portion.
Abstract:
An electrical connector assembly (100) comprises: a housing (1) having a front mating portion (13) and a rear body portion (12). The rear body portion is greater in cross-section than the mating portion. An insulative spacer (3) is positioned in the housing. Two printed circuit boards (2) sandwich the insulative spacer. The two printed circuit boards and the insulative spacer are supported by the housing. And a metallic gasket (9) is assembled to an outer surface of the front mating portion and having an inserting portion (915, 925) extending into the housing and attached to the insulative spacer.
Abstract:
An electrical connector assembly (100) comprises: a housing (1) having a rear body portion (12) and a front mating portion (13), two paralleled printed circuit boards (2) disposed in the housing and positioned by the housing, two cables (4) respectively electrically connected to the two printed circuit boards, a spacer (3) sandwiched between the two printed circuit boards and positioned by the housing, a metallic holder (8) surrounding the body portion, and a metallic gasket (9) surrounding a rear section of the mating portion. The metallic gasket has a number of ribs (135) around a front end thereof and the housing has on an outer surface thereof a plurality of slits receiving the ribs (95).
Abstract:
A cable assembly includes an insulative housing having a main portion, and a mating portion extending forwardly from the mating portion. An optical device is attached to the housing and has a pair of optical module movable accommodated in the mating portion along a front-to-back direction for optical transmitting. The optical modules each has a seat and a number of lenses supported by the seat. The pair of optical modules are adapted for connecting two corresponding connectors, respectively, and a combination of the pair of the optical modules is also adapted for connecting a single corresponding connector.
Abstract:
An adapter includes a plug connector having a first housing defining a first mating port and a plurality of first terminals disposed in the first housing, and a receptacle connector having a second housing defining a second mating port and a plurality of second terminals disposed in the second housing and electrically connecting to the first terminals. An optical device has a first optical module and a second optical module optically connecting with each other via optical fibers. The first optical module is movably retained in the first housing while the second optical module is immovably retained in the second housing along a mating direction of the receptacle connector.
Abstract:
A cable assembly includes a plurality of contacts, an insulation housing and a metal shell assembled on the insulation housing. The insulation housing is molded outside the contacts and includes a fastening portion protruding from a rear end of an upper surface of the housing, and a pair of side arms rearward extending from the two sides of a rear surface of the fastening portion. The metal shell is assembled on the insulation housing and located behind the fastening portion. The fastening portion is substantially of U-shaped configuration with a pair of L-shaped cutout located on the two sides thereof and the two cutouts faces toward the outside. The metal shell includes a pair of clasping portions respectively frontward extending from the front surface of two side walls of the rectangular frame. The clasping portions are respectively inserted into their corresponding cutouts.

Abstract:
A cable connector assembly includes a housing and a plurality of conductive contacts located in the housing. The housing defines a receiving room therein and a mating port through which a complementary connector is inserted into the receiving room. A plurality of cables electrically connects with the conductive contacts. A latch mechanism is assembled to an outside face of the housing and includes a latch member and a pulling member connecting with the latch member. The latch member defines a pair of hook portions inserted into the receiving room from the outside face and latching with the complementary connector. The latch member further defines a pair of shaft pins and the pulling member defines a pair of shaft holes. The shaft pins are pivotedly received in the shaft holes.
