摘要: A compact, one-part respiratory flow sensor with a small dead space volume for the simultaneous measurement of both the gas volume flow and the concentration of gas components of the respiratory flow. The respiratory flow sensor has a tubular housing (1) with two opposite windows (2, 3) which are arranged at right angles to the direction of flow and limit the respiratory flow and are formed of a material transparent to infrared radiation. An infrared sensor with an infrared radiation source (4) and with at least one infrared radiation detector (5) is connected to the housing (1). The infrared radiation source (4) irradiates one of the two windows (2, 3) of the housing (1). The infrared radiation detector (5), of which there is at least one, receives the infrared radiation of the infrared radiation source (4) after its passage through the respiratory flow and the two windows (2, 3) limiting the respiratory flow. At least one measuring transducer for the gas volume flow is arranged in the tubular housing (1) outside the beam path of the infrared radiation.

摘要: A treatment unit with at least two heat sources and a lying surface (4) for a patient (2) is provided such that the ratio of the heat outputs of the heat sources in relation to one another can be set in a simple manner. A heater (5) with a first temperature control circuit (9) for setting a predetermined temperature on or in the environment of the patient (2) is provided along with a heater (3) at the lying surface (4). A second temperature control circuit (12) is provided for the lying surface heater (3). A logic circuit (15) is operatively connected between the first temperature control circuit (9) and the second temperature control circuit (12), which receives the temperature actual value or the temperature set point of the first control circuit (9) as a command variable and sends a tracking value as a lying surface temperature set point to the second temperature control circuit (12) via a temperature logic function (17).

摘要: An incubator with a first air heater and a first fan is improved in terms of constant air temperature and air humidity in the interior space even after a brief opening of a flap. A second air heater and an associated second fan are additionally provided, whose operation is controlled via a measuring and control unit either as a function of a drop in the air temperature in the interior space of the incubator, which is measured by means of a temperature sensor or as a function of the open status of the flap (as sensed by a switch). An air humidifier module with heater, which is alternatively or additionally integrated in the arrangement, is optionally provided.

摘要: An incubator for maintaining a warm environment for infants includes a substantially elongated resting or bed surface which is surrounded by a hood. At least one side wall of the front side has closable access openings. An air outlet for supplying air into the hood and an air inlet for carrying air away from the hood are provided at the peripheral region of the resting surface. In the incubator, the air is guided to maintain a stable incubator air temperature to reduce heat losses from convection and radiation with the hood closed and, with the front side opened, the buildup of a stable warm-air curtain is promoted. For this purpose, the air outlet is disposed along the front side, and the air inlet is disposed along the rear side opposite this front side.

摘要: A radiation arrangement provides heat to a bed surface for accommodating a patient thereon. Heat sources are arranged at a spatial distance above the bed surface in such a way that uniform radiant warming of the bed surface is obtained and that sides of the bed surface are maintained clear of radiation to facilitate access by persons attending the patient so that these attending persons are not subjected to the radiant heat especially in the region of the head. The arrangement includes small-surface heat radiators which are located and spaced vertically above the corner points of a polygon border enclosing the bed surface.

摘要: Devices for breaking down a gas mixture by means of an absorbent permit the production of an enriched product, e.g. oxygen for technical processes or for ventilation. During the operation, the device is switched periodically between two operating stages, in which the gas mixture is fed to one of two tanks with absorbent, while the other is regenerated at the same time. The charging of the absorbent becomes clear with the pressure rise in the gas mixture in front of the tanks. As a characteristic curve is considered the hyperbolap=K/TwithK as a system constantp as the optimum adsorption pressure, andT as the optimum adsorption time.In the control, a timing unit releases a multiplier in which the value K/T is constantly formed, which corresponds then to the respective time related optimum adsorption pressure. In a comparator, this signal is compared with the signal of a sensor in the gas mixture in front of the tanks. In case of agreements, the tanks are switched on the characteristic curve. An alarm device indicates troubles of the device.
