摘要： A thermotherapy device includes a therapy unit (2) with housing having sidewalls surrounding a lying surface, a support device (8) that supports the therapy unit (2) and a heating device (7) for heating an area of the surrounded lying surface. The housing of the therapy unit (2) is open at the bottom. The support device (8) has a base wall arrangement (10) fixedly connected thereto which completes and locks the housing open at the bottom of the therapy unit to form a housing closed off at the bottom in the closed position of the therapy unit. The therapy unit (2) is mounted pivotably on one side in relation the base wall arrangement (10). The therapy unit (2) is pivotable between the closed position with the housing closed and an open position remote from the base wall arrangement, in which position the components in an interior of the housing are accessible.

A heater such as a convection heater with a blower heats the air and/or an air humidifier humidifies the air. The covering hood (3) is moved in a simple manner and access to the support for a patient is essentially not hindered by the covering hood (3) in the open position. The patient is kept warm essentially by a radiant heater when the covering hood (3) is opened and by the convection heater when the covering hood (3) is closed. The covering hood (3) may be irradiated by the radiant heater and protected from condensation. A center of gravity (5) of the covering hood (3) lying in its horizontal direction is at the rear fifth of the basic housing (2) or behind the basic housing (2) in the open position of the covering hood (3).

摘要： An infant care apparatus having a canopy movable with respect to an infant support for supporting an infant between a lower position enclosing the infant in an infant compartment and an upper position opening the infant compartment. The canopy has an opening and a door that can be closed to block the opening and opened to unblock the opening. A radiant heater is located in a fixed position above the infant support to direct infrared energy toward the infant support. When the canopy is in its lower position, a convective heating system warms the infant compartment. The door either closes as the canopy moves to its lower position or opens as the canopy moves to its upper position.
