摘要: A luminescent polymer, suitable for use in an active layer of an organic light-emitting device, organic solid state lasers, a photovoltaic cell or an electrochromic display and exhibiting good stability and microstructure control, which has the structure wherein Ar1 and Ar2 are aromatic or heteroaromatic rings, such as phenyl, biphenyl, fluorene, thiophene, pyridyl, or their substituted aromatic or heteroaromatic rings with or without deuterium, and R1 and R2 are independently each selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, deuterium, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, alkoxyl, aryl and heteroaryl, or halogen, wherein D represents deuterium and n is an integer greater than 3. Electronic devices and methods of making them which employ these luminescent polymers are also described.

摘要: There is provided an organic electroluminescent device including at least: a pair of electrodes including an anode and a cathode; one or more layers containing an organic compound interposed between the pair of electrodes; and a layer containing metallic boride provided between the cathode and one of the layers containing the organic compound. The organic electroluminescent device provides an electron injection material which has high chemical stability and is easy to control a composition of a film. The organic electroluminescent device has extremely high efficiency, a light output with high luminance, and extremely high durability.

摘要: A pyrene based compound and its use in an organic light emitting device (OLED) according to the following formula: In the above formula, Z1 represents a hydrogen atom, deuterium atom, oxygen atom, silicon atom, selenium atom, substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl group, substituted or unsubstituted aryl amine or a combination thereof, and Z2 represents a hydrogen or deuterium atom. One of Y1 and Y2 represents a hydrogen atom, deuterium atom, oxygen atom, silicon atom, selenium atom, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl group, substituted or unsubstituted aryl amine or a combination thereof, and the other of Y1 and Y2 represents a hydrogen or deuterium atom. X1 through X6 independently represent hydrogen atoms, deuterium atoms, alkyl groups or aryl groups, and at least one of X1 through X6 represents a bulky alkyl group or bulky aryl group. Also, at least one of X1 through X6, Y1, Y2, Z1, and Z2 represents a deuterium atom. The pyrene based compounds of this invention are useful in emissive layers, hole transport layers, or electron transport layers of an organic light emitting device (OLED). Within these layers, the pyrene based compound can serve directly to constitute the layers or as a host and/or dopant.

摘要: A pyrene based compound and its use in an organic light emitting device (OLED) according to the following formula: In the above formula, Z1 represents a hydrogen atom, deuterium atom, oxygen atom, silicon atom, selenium atom, substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl group, substituted or unsubstituted aryl amine or a combination thereof, and Z2 represents a hydrogen or deuterium atom. One of Y1 and Y2 represents a hydrogen atom, deuterium atom, oxygen atom, silicon atom, selenium atom, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl group, substituted or unsubstituted aryl amine or a combination thereof, and the other of Y1 and Y2 represents a hydrogen or deuterium atom. X1 through X6 independently represent hydrogen atoms, deuterium atoms, alkyl groups or aryl groups, and at least one of X1 through X6 represents a bulky alkyl group or bulky aryl group. Also, at least one of X1 through X6, Y1, Y2, Z1, and Z2 represents a deuterium atom. The pyrene based compounds of this invention are useful in emissive layers, hole transport layers, or electron transport layers of an organic light emitting device (OLED). Within these layers, the pyrene based compound can serve directly to constitute the layers or as a host and/or dopant.

摘要: Organic semiconductors consisting of conjugated chromophores wherein one or more hydrogen atoms are deuterated are disclosed. Methods of preparing such organic semiconductors are described. The organic semiconducting compounds exhibit remarkably high luminescence and good thermal stability. Applications of these materials for optoelectronic devices, such as light-emitting devices and photodiodes, with enhanced performance and lifetime are disclosed. The disclosed materials can be used as emissive layer, charge-transporting layer, or energy transfer (i.e. phosphorescence dopant) material in organic light-emitting devices.

摘要: Organic semiconductors consisting of conjugated chromophores wherein one or more hydrogen atoms are deuterated are disclosed. Methods of preparing such organic semiconductors are described. The organic semiconducting compounds exhibit remarkably high luminescence and good thermal stability. Applications of these materials for optoelectronic devices, such as light-emitting devices and photodiodes, with enhanced performance and lifetime are disclosed. The disclosed materials can be used as emissive layer, charge-transporting layer, or energy transfer (i.e. phosphorescence dopant) material in organic light-emitting devices.

摘要: An exposure apparatus performs exposure of a photosensitive body by an array of light emitting devices to form an image as a latent image thereon. The array of light emitting devices incorporate micro-optical cavities. The micro-optical cavities limit wavelengths of light emitted from the array of light emitting devices, so that the wavelength at a peak of emitted light is in a half width region of sensitivity versus wavelength of the photosensitive body.

摘要: An organic electronic device functioning as a flat EL display panel is provided by forming an organic EL element and a nonlinear device as a drive means for controlling a current supplied to the EL device on a common substrate. The nonlinear device has a structure including a first organic layer and a second organic layer each comprising an organic material, and at least one metal layer principally comprising a metal element and sandwiched between the first and second organic layers so as to flow at least a part of current through the metal layer between the first and second organic layers sandwiching the metal layer. The nonlinear device having a function comparable to a conventional organic transistor or diode can be formed by using not a special organic material having a remarkably high mobility but an organic material selected from a broader class of materials.
