Abstract: Provided are a method for performing cell reselection by a terminal in a wireless communication system and a device for supporting same. The terminal detects a single-cell point-to-multipoint (SCPTM) cell of interest, calculates the ranking of the SCPTM cell of interest, and performs cell reselection on the basis of the calculated ranking. The ranking of the SCPTM cell of interest can be calculated by means of applying a cell-specific priority (CSP).

Abstract: Provided are a method and an apparatus for stopping and restarting an MBMS service in a wireless communication system. A terminal receives multicast channel (MCH) scheduling information (MSI) and checks whether a special value is included in the received MSI. If the special value is included in the MSI, then whether to stop or suspend the MBMS service can be determined. That is, MSI can be considered in stopping the MBMS service. Furthermore, stopping is terminating an MBMS service without a consideration for restarting same, and suspending is terminating an MBMS service with a consideration for restarting same.

Abstract: A method by which a terminal performs cell measurement by selectively using reference signals (RSs) is provided. The terminal receives, from a network, a common RS (CRS) measurement configuration and a discovery RS (DRS) measurement configuration with respect to a frequency to be measured. If the network has configured a physical cell ID (PCID) list for CRS-based DRS measurement with respect to the frequency to be measured, DRS measurement is performed on cells included in the PCID list, and CRS measurement is performed on cells not included in the PCID list. If the network has not configured the PCID list for CRS-based DRS measurement with respect to the frequency to be measured, DRS measurement is performed on all cells belonging to the frequency to be measured.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for applying assistance information for traffic steering between a 3rd generation partnership project (3GPP) access network and a non-3GPP access network in a wireless communication system is provided. The UE applies the assistance information received through the dedicated signaling until the timer expires. After the timer expires, the UE applies assistance information received through a broadcast signaling.
