    摘要: In an assembly method of the rotary shaft in use for a ball-bearing type turbocharger, there includes steps of inserting an inner race of the first ball bearing into a rotary shaft to locate it in proximity of a turbine impeller before disposing the rotary shaft into the center housing; inserting a sleeve into the rotary shaft before mounting the second ball bearing on the rotary shaft; applying a compensation force to the inner race of the first ball bearing by way of the sleeve so as to bring one side of the inner race into a tight engagement with a boss portion of the turbine impeller, a magnitude of the force falling within a range from 20% to 120% of an axial force applied in the direction along the rotary shaft when the compressor impeller is secured to the rotary shaft by tightening the screw nut; releasing the compensation force from the inner race of the first ball bearing, and carrying out imbalance-correction of the turbine impeller prior disposing into the center housing.

    摘要: A crossed roller bearing assembly includes an outer ring provided with an outer V-shaped guide groove, an inner ring provided with an inner V-shaped guide groove and a plurality of rollers arranged in a guide space defined between the outer and inner V-shaped guide grooves in a rolling contact fashion. An insertion hole is formed in one of the outer and inner rings and the insertion hole preferably has a diameter which is larger than the diameter of the rollers, but smaller than a diagonal length in cross section of the rollers. A plug having a shape which substantially corresponds to the shape of the insertion hole is fitted into the insertion hole after insertion of the rollers. No gap or clearance is defined between the insertion hole and the plug so that the rollers can roll along the guide space smoothly.

    摘要: A rotor assembly consists of a rotor shaft having a shoulder, turbine wheel, inner ring of a ball bearing and spacer having an end face cooperating with the shoulder to clamp therebetween the inner ring. An aspect of the present invention resides in that a perpendicularity of the end face relative to a center axis of the spacer is equal to or smaller than 0.1% of an inner diameter of the spacer. A clearance is provided between the rotor shaft and the spacer so that the spacer is secured by press fitting to the rotor shaft only at the opposite end portions. Another aspect of the present invention resides in that the rotor assembly is constructed so as to satisfy at least one of the following two factors, i.e., (I) a volume of the clearance is equal to or smaller than 2% of that of an inner space of the spacer and (II) (D2-D1) is equal to or smaller than 2% of D1 where D1 is an outer diameter of the rotor shaft and D2 is an inner diameter of the spacer.

    摘要: A miniature video magnetic tape cassette which is easy to assemble. An opening is formed in a front part of a cassette body which is covered by a guard panel, with the guard panel being swingably supported on the cassette body by shafts protruding from an inner surface of the side walls of the guard panel fitted into openings in the cassette body. A coil spring is supported on each supporting shaft with one end of each spring engaged with the guard panel to urge the guard panel toward the closed position of the opening. The other end of each coil spring is held by a locking structure provided on an inner surface adjacent to side wall of the upper half of the cassette body. The locking structure may be a locking shaft with the other end of the coil spring engaged with the locking shaft. Otherwise, the locking structure can be formed by a gap between the side wall of the upper half of the cassette and a supporting side wall inwardly thereof, in which case the other end of the coil spring is inserted into the gap and fixedly held therein with a block fitted in the gap.

    摘要: A very efficient microbiological method is proposed for the preparation of .gamma.-linolenic acid or a lipid rich in the content of .gamma.-linolenic acid, one of the essential fatty acids in the diet of mammals, e.g. human. The method comprises culturing a fungus of Mortierella genus including isabellina, vinacea, ramanniana, ramanniana var. angulispora and nana in a culture medium containing a carbohydrate, e.g. glucose, as the carbon source in an unusually high concentration of 60 to 400 g/liter to grow a fungal body containing a large amount of a lipid rich in the content of .gamma.-linolenic acid. A further improvement in the efficiency of culture and the content of the desired fatty acid in the fungal body is obtained by the addition of acetic acid or an alkali acetate to the culture medium.
