    摘要: A membrane enhanced deionized capacitor (MEDC) device, consisting of insulating plates (6,7) and a series of MEDC unit cells, is provided. The MEDC unit cell includes a cation and anion ion-exchange membranes (2,4), one pair of carbon electrodes (1-1,1-2), a spacer (3) and an insulating holder (5) and is assembled in the order of [(1-1)/(2)/(3)/(5)/(4)/(1-2)]. The cation-exchange membrane combined with one electrode is used as negative electrosorptive electrode while the anion-exchange membrane combined with another electrode is used as positive electrode. Unit cells can be connected with each other in series, or in parallel. The devices can be made as either stack type or roll type.

The methods and systems described herein are particularly applicable to advertising provided in online web sites, such as online internet search provider sites. The changes in one or more subordinate online advertising metrics, such as the number of clicks on a particular advertising link, and the cost-per-click to the advertiser, are measured over a predefined period of time, as are the changes in the advertising metric of interest over the same predefined period of time. The respective impacts of the changes of the are determined through the use of sensitivity analysis.

    摘要: In general, the present disclosure describes techniques for both removing memory buffers from and adding memory buffers to a list (e.g., a linked list) of available buffers, for use by a network device, without locking the list during access. One example method includes allocating a list of memory buffers that are each available for use by multiple modules executed within the network device, wherein the list includes a first end and a second, opposite end, and removing a first memory buffer from the first end of the list by a first module of the multiple modules without locking the list. The method further includes adding the first memory buffer to the second end of the list by a second module of the multiple modules without locking the list.
