Abstract: Techniques for beam-based relay node switch. An example method of wireless communication by a first wireless node generally includes relaying wireless communications between a user equipment (UE)(120, 120a-y) and a network entity; transmitting, to one or more second wireless nodes, relay request signals via a plurality of beams(402a-d, 602a-d, 604a-b, 706a-b) at relay request signal occasions(1, 2, 3), wherein each of the relay request signals indicates a request to switch relay services of the UE(120, 120ay) from the first wireless node to the one or more second wireless nodes; and switching the relay services of the UE(120, 120a-y) to at least one of the one or more second wireless nodes.

In some aspects, a base station (BS) may identify a collision between a data transmission and a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) transmission in a full-duplex time-frequency resource. The BS may transmit, to a wireless communication device, an indication of a time-frequency mapping for a zero-power DMRS (ZP-DMRS) in the full-duplex time-frequency resource. The time-frequency mapping for the ZP-DMRS, and a time-frequency mapping in the full-duplex time-frequency resource for the DMRS transmission, may be a same time-frequency mapping. Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for a user equipment (UE) to determine channel state information (CSI) to feedback to a base station (BS) in a full-duplex wireless communications system while considering UE-to-UE interference and for the BS to configure the UE to provide the CSI to the BS. In an exemplary method, a UE receives, from a base station (BS) in a full-duplex communications system, a channel state information (CSI) report configuration including at least a first indicator of a first associated set of sounding reference signal (SRS) resources; and transmits to the BS a CSI report including CSI and zero or more second indicators of sets of measured SRS resources.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive from a network entity, a control message triggering the UE to provide a time-domain aperiodic channel state information (A-CSI) report for indicating time-domain channel state information (CSI) associated with CSI reference signal (CSI-RS) resources within an observation window, where a beginning of the observation window is based on when the control message is received. The UE may perform performing measurements of channel state information reference signals (CSI-RSs) received via the CSI-RS resources that occur within the observation window. The UE may then transmit, to the network entity based on the control message, the time-domain A-CSI report indicating measured time-domain CSI associated with the observation window, where the measured time-domain CSI is based on the measurements.

A first wireless device may transmit one or more signals to a second wireless device using an antenna panel including antenna elements that are arranged in a hexagonal configuration. The signals may be transmitted using one or more directional beams for multiple-input multiple-output communications with the second wireless device, the directional beams generated based on the antenna elements in the hexagonal configuration. The first wireless device may receive a signal from the second wireless device, and in some cases, the first wireless device may transmit one or more reference signals via the one or more directional beams, the reference signals associated with a set of two or more antenna elements of the antenna panel of the first wireless device. The second wireless device may perform measurements of the reference signals and transmit a measurement report to the first wireless device.
