    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for transmit/receive (TX/RX) beam association in millimeter wave (mmW) vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications. In conventional wireless systems, a node (e.g., gNB) that manages wireless resources is typically stationary. This means that transmissions from the network node over the same TX beam using the same antenna array orientation can be assumed to be quasi-collocated (QCLed) and communications may be established using fixed-to-mobile beam management approach. However, if the transmitting node is mobile, a quasi-collocation (QCL) assumption may not be valid. To address issues due to mobility of the nodes that manage wireless resources, a mobile-to-mobile beam management approach is proposed.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A first user equipment (UE) may receive link capability information from a second UE that has a cellular wireless connection with a network entity of a cellular wireless network. The link capability information may be associated with a subscription of the second UE to the cellular wireless network. The first UE may establish a local wireless connection with the second UE based on the link capability information associated with the subscription of the second UE to the cellular wireless network. The first UE may communicate one or more messages with the network entity of the cellular wireless network via the second UE using first subscriber identity module (SIM) credentials of the first UE or second SIM credentials of the second UE based on establishing the local wireless connection with the second UE.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE), e.g., such as a pedestrian UE (PUE), may detect, during a first transmission period of a discontinuous transmission cycle, a transmission over a sidelink channel from a second UE that is located within a threshold distance from the first UE, the first UE associated with a first identifier. The first UE may determine, based at least in part on the transmission, a second identifier associated with the second UE, the second identifier being different from the first identifier. The first UE may use, based at least in part on the second UE being within the threshold distance, the first identifier and the second identifier during one or more subsequent transmission periods of the discontinuous transmission cycle.
