摘要: Aspects of the disclosure relate to relaying data between a PC5 remote UE and a network entity (e.g., 5G core network entity) via an inter-working function (e.g., N3IWF) over sidelink UE-to-NW relay access. In an example operation, a relay UE establishes a connection with the network entity and determines whether relay access to the network entity via an inter-working function device is supported at the relay UE. The relay UE then indicates, to the remote UE, support of the relay access to the network entity via the inter-working function device. The relay UE receives, from the remote UE, a request to relay data between the remote UE and the network entity via the inter-working function device, and thereafter, relays the data between the remote UE and the network entity via the inter-working function device based on the request. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

摘要: A method and apparatus enable sidelink resource management using a sidelink discovery signal. The method provides for determining a resource configuration for a sidelink discovery signal. The resource configuration provides one or more parameters for transmitting the sidelink discovery signal. The method also provides for measuring link quality between the UE and at least one candidate relay UE. Based on the measured link quality one of the candidate relay UEs is selected and serves as a relay UE.

A first user equipment (UE) may receive link capability information from a second UE that has a cellular wireless connection with a network entity of a cellular wireless network. The link capability information may be associated with a subscription of the second UE to the cellular wireless network. The first UE may establish a local wireless connection with the second UE based on the link capability information associated with the subscription of the second UE to the cellular wireless network. The first UE may communicate one or more messages with the network entity of the cellular wireless network via the second UE using first subscriber identity module (SIM) credentials of the first UE or second SIM credentials of the second UE based on establishing the local wireless connection with the second UE.

摘要: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine a prioritization rule that indicates a relative priority for different uplink communications included in a group of uplink communications, wherein the group of uplink communications includes at least a first uplink communication and a second uplink communication to be transmitted by the UE using time-division multiplexing during a make-before-break handover procedure. The UE may transmit, based at least in part on the prioritization rule, the first uplink communication to a target base station and the second uplink communication to a source base station using time-division multiplexing during the make-before-break handover procedure. Numerous other aspects are provided.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may be configured to communicate with a first base station, where the first UE is configured to relay wireless communications between a second UE and the first base station via at least a sidelink communication link between the first UE and the second UE. The first UE may receive, from the first base station, an indication for the first UE to perform a first handover procedure from the first base station to a second base station. The first UE may transmit, to the second UE via the sidelink communication link and based on receiving the indication to perform the first handover procedure, a sidelink transmission including a trigger for the second UE to perform a second handover procedure or a reselection procedure. The first UE may then communicate with the second base station based on performing the first handover procedure from the first base station to the second base station.

摘要: Aspects of the disclosure relate to mechanisms for proximity service (ProSe) authorization and provisioning. A user equipment (UE) may be configured to support ProSe communication and may indicate this capability to a radio access network (RAN) and a core network during registration of the UE. Based on the ProSe indication, the RAN may select an access and mobility management function (AMF) that supports ProSe authorization and policy provisioning and forward a registration request indicating the UE supports ProSe communication to the selected AMF. Upon authorizing the UE for ProSe operation, the AMF may transmit a registration accept message including a ProSe supported indication to the UE. The UE may then initiate a ProSe session with another UE based on the ProSe supported indication in the registration accept message.
