Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from an initiator UE, a group formation communication indicating a group that the UE is associated with for a group positioning reference signal (PRS) Listen Before Talk (LBT) procedure. The UE may transmit, to the initiator UE, an indication that the UE should not be associated with the group based at least in part on performing the group PRS LBT procedure. Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may generate a wake up signal to wake up a plurality of second UEs. The wake up signal may be based at least in part on location information associated with the UE, location information associated with one or more of the plurality of second UEs, or a combination thereof. The UE may further transmit, to the plurality of second UEs, the wake up signal. Accordingly, the plurality of second UEs may receive the wake up signal and monitor for messages from the second UE based at least in part on receiving the wake up signal. Abstract:
A non-geosynchronous satellite system, where each satellite has an antenna (perhaps a multi-element antenna) to form a beam pattern comprising a set of beams in the footprint of the satellite, where in one implementation each beam is substantially elliptical in shape having a minor axis and a major axis, where the minor axes are substantially collinear and the major axes are substantially oriented east to west. For a satellite, power is reduced or turned off for a subset of the set of beams, wherein each beam in the subset is reduced at or below a corresponding power level such that when a beam is powered above its corresponding power level an equivalent power flux-density (EPFD) exceeds a limit at some point on the Earth's surface.
