摘要: A channel encoding method in a communication or broadcasting system is provided. The channel encoding method includes reading a first sequence corresponding to a parity check matrix, converting the first sequence to a second sequence by applying a certain rule to a block size corresponding to a parity check matrix and the first sequence, and encoding information bits based on the second sequence. The block size has at least two different integer values.

摘要: The present invention related to a 5G or pre-5G communication system to be provided to support a higher data transmission rate since 4G communication systems like LTE. The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for encoding a channel in a communication or broadcasting system supporting parity-check matrices having various sizes are provided. The method for encoding a channel includes determining a block size of the parity-check matrix; reading a sequence for generating the parity-check matrix, and transforming the sequence by applying a previously defined operation to the sequence based on the determined block size.

The present disclosure provides a method for transmitting a signal by a transmission terminal in a communication system using a Low Density Parity Check (LDPC) code. The method include receiving a change request for changing a coding rate of the LDPC code, from a reception terminal; determining a first coding rate based on the change request; and transmitting information on the first coding rate in respond to the change request, to a reception terminal, wherein the change request for changing the coding rate comprises at least one of information indicating a coding rate determined by the reception terminal, or information indicating a state of the reception terminal.

The purpose of the present disclosure is to maximize adaptive transmission performance by designing a puncturing order and a repetition order individually in optimized order. An operation method of a transmission device for adaptive transmission of a codeword according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes generating a codeword using a polar code and transmitting a packet including at least one codeword indicated by a repetition order when bit repetition is needed. The repetition order is determined based on at least one of channel polarization or channel quality information.

An operation method of a receiving device in a wireless system includes receiving a polar codeword generated by a polar code, generating a majority of decoding paths by decoding a bit value corresponding to one index that is selected among a majority of indexes indicating respective bits included in the polar codeword, determining a first candidate group that includes at least one decoding path among the majority of decoding paths, and determining, as a second candidate group, at least one decoding path passing a CRC check among the first candidate group. A number of the at least one decoding path included in the first candidate group is determined based on a result of a CRC check performed prior to the CRC check.

A method for receiving data includes selecting one of reception schemes, and receiving data based on the selected reception scheme, wherein the reception schemes includes a scheme of determining an integer matrix based on channel values estimated for channels, and decoding symbols received through the channels based on the determined integer matrix, and a scheme of detecting, for each channel, a sum of symbols received from each of the channels during a preset time based on integer matrixes which are determined based on each of the channel values, retransforming the sum of the symbols detected for each channel based on at least one of the integer matrixes, and decoding the retransformed sum of the symbols for each channel.
