Abstract: This disclosure relates to video coding and more particular to techniques for signaling decoded picture buffer information for coded video data. The method of decoding video data comprises, determining a number of output layer sets with more than one layer; determining a number of decoded picture buffer parameters syntax structures in a video parameter set; in a case that the number of the decoded picture buffer parameters syntax structures is not equal to the number of the output layer sets with more than one layer, decoding a syntax element specifying an index of the decoded picture buffer parameters syntax structures; and in a case that the syntax element is not present, inferring a value of the syntax element.

Abstract: A non-transitory machine-readable medium of an electronic device that stores one or more computer-executable instructions is provided. The one or more computer-executable instructions, when executed by at least one processing unit of the electronic device, cause the electronic device to: decode a wavefront parallel processing (WPP) enabled flag that indicates whether a rectangular tile or a coding tree unit (CTU) row having a height of one CTU exists in a segment in an object tile group; and decode an end bit of the segment. When the WPP enabled flag is 1, after decoding a CTU at a right end of the CTU row, an end bit of a first segment having a first fixed value is decoded. When the WPP enabled flag is 0, after decoding a CTU at a bottom right of a tile, an end bit of a second segment having a second fixed value is decoded.

Abstract: A method of deriving prediction sample values for decoding video data by a device is provided. A reference wraparound offset syntax specifying an offset used for computing a horizontal wrap-around position is decoded. A luma location is derived based on a product of a value of the reference wraparound offset syntax and a minimum coding block size. An offset variable is set equal to a value obtained by dividing the product of the value of the reference wraparound offset syntax and the minimum coding block size by a width value, and the width value is specified based on a chroma format. A chroma location is derived by using the offset variable. A predicted luma sample value is derived by using the luma location.

In one example, a method of decoding chroma component parameter information for decoding video data comprises: receiving a picture parameter set (PPS) including syntax elements corresponding to a picture; parsing a flag in the PPS indicating whether chroma quantization parameter syntax elements are included in the PPS and whether chroma deblocking parameter syntax elements are included in the PPS; conditionally parsing the chroma quantization parameter syntax elements in the PPS based on the value of the flag; conditionally parsing the chroma deblocking parameter syntax elements in the PPS based on the value of the flag; deriving a quantization parameter based on the chroma quantization parameter syntax elements; and performing a deblocking filter based on the chroma deblocking parameter syntax elements.
