摘要: In an optical waveguide device of the present invention, optical element mount (17) includes first base block (19a) for supporting first optical element (18a) and second base block (19b) for supporting second optical element (18b) that has an active layer depth smaller than that of first optical element (18a). Second base block (19b) is formed from stacks of upper clad layers whose number of stacks is larger than that of first base block (19a). Difference (h1) in height between the first and second base blocks is equal to difference (d1−d2) in active layer depth between the first and second optical elements.

摘要: A knife folding machine comprises: a support surface (4) for supporting a lower surface of a sheet (S); a knife blade (5); a pair of folding rollers (6a, 6b) opposed to the knife blade (5) at a fold position with the support surface (4) therebetween. The knife blade (5) is reciprocated between first and second positions by a knife drive unit 7. The first position is away from an upper surface of the support surface, and the second position is adjacent a gap between the folding rollers. The reciprocal movement of the knife blade (5) effects a folding operation every time the sheet (S) is set at the fold position. The sheet (S) is conveyed to the fold position by the conveyer belt (13). The conveyer belt (13) is driven by a first servomotor (11). The control unit (12) controls the rotation of the first servomotor (11) so as to decelerate the sheet (S) before its abutment against the stopper (14) without its rebounding against the stopper (14).

摘要: A paper folding device is configured so that a folding line is always formed at a predetermined position of paper sheets. A paper supply section is provided with a conveyor belt for conveying paper sheets (P) sequentially supplied from a paper sheet stack. A guide plate (4) for aligning the positions of the conveyed paper sheets is provided on a conveying surface of the conveyor belt. A paper folding section has a buckle (10) comprising an outer frame (11) and bars (12) which extend between opposite sides (11a, 11b) of the outer frame and are arranged at intervals from each other. Paper sheet introducing gaps extended in the direction of the length of the bars are provided in the buckle. Before the start of paper folding operation, a control section calculates and processes data relating to the size of paper sheets and data relating to the position of the bars, so that the distance to the guide plate from a reference point in the direction perpendicular to the conveying direction (R) is set to a value with which a side edge of each paper sheet introduced into the paper sheet introducing gaps in the buckle is separated by a distance not less than a predetermined level from a side edge of a bar located closest to the side edge of the paper sheet. Then, the control section sets the position of the guide plate according to the set value.

摘要: A vehicular illumination device includes a light distribution control unit, a determination unit and a control unit. The light distribution control unit performs an alteration control of a vehicular illumination unit so as to alter a light distribution with respect to an illumination object detected by a detection unit. When the illumination object ceases to be detected, the determination unit determines whether or not there is a need to maintain the alteration control in a current state. When it is determined that there is a need to maintain the alteration control in the current state, the control unit controls the light distribution control unit so as to maintain the alteration control in the current state.

摘要: A FET switch enables an antenna input/output port connected to an antenna to connect to any of a port connected to a transmission signal input terminal and ports respectively connected to two reception signal output terminals by switching between the ports. After a transmission signal is input through the transmission signal input terminal and is then input from the port to the FET switch, harmonic distortion occurs and is output to the transmission signal input terminal side. A phase setting element connected to the port changes an impedance of the input side viewed from the port with respect to harmonics from an open state to a short-circuited state, so as to disperse the harmonics. Accordingly, harmonics returning to the port are greatly suppressed and minimized.
