    摘要: A flat panel display device and a method of manufacturing the same are disclosed. In one embodiment, a flat panel display device includes a substrate having a thin film transistor (TFT) formed thereon, and a blocking layer is formed between the TFT and the substrate. The blocking layer is disposed only in the region vertically corresponding to an active layer of the TFT. Thus, light transmittance is not reduced, and accordingly, there is generally better luminance and image quality of the device.
