    Abstract: A fingerprint-touch sensing apparatus includes a substrate, a sensing electrode layer, a plurality of electrode switch circuits, a plurality of capacitance-signal switch circuits respectively connected to a plurality of data lines and a capacitance-signal line, and a fingerprint-touch sensing control integrated circuit. The sensing electrode layer includes a plurality of sensing electrodes arranged in multiple columns and multiple rows. The fingerprint-touch sensing control integrated circuit controls the capacitance-signal switch circuits and the electrode switch circuits to select one or more sensing electrodes to conduct sensing, thus providing the flexible function of fingerprint sensing or touch sensing.

    Abstract: A rapid identification method for fingerprint first provides a fingerprint identification apparatus having a fingerprint sensing area and divides the fingerprint sensing area into fingerprint sensing sub-regions. In a registration stage, the method performs fingerprint sensing for the entire fingerprint sensing area to obtain fingerprint image for a whole fingerprint sensing area, fingerprint minutiae and relevant locations for the fingerprint minutiae and then pre-stores those data. In an identification stage, the method performs fingerprint sensing on a part of the fingerprint sensing sub-regions for a user to be identified and detects fingerprint minutiae and relevant locations for the fingerprint minutiae in the part of the fingerprint sensing sub-regions. The method compares the fingerprint minutiae and relevant locations detected in the identification stage with respect to the corresponding fingerprint minutiae and relevant locations in the registration stage in order to determine whether the user can be granted with access right.

    Abstract: A fingerprint sensing structure includes a flexible substrate divided into a fingerprint-sensing region and a non-fingerprint-sensing region. In the non-fingerprint-sensing region, the fingerprint sensing structure includes a plurality of organic insulating layers, a wiring layer having conductive wires and at least one inorganic insulating layer, where the wiring layer is sandwiched between two organic insulating layers to render the portion of the fingerprint sensing structure corresponding to non-fingerprint-sensing region to have bending with curvature radius not larger than 2 mm. In the finger sensing region, the fingerprint sensing structure includes a thin film transistor layer and a sensing electrode layer. The thin film transistor layer includes a plurality of thin film transistors, a plurality of conductive wires respectively along a first direction and a second direction. The sensing electrode layer has a plurality of sensing electrodes to sense surface features of living organism.

    Abstract: An OLED touch display device includes a TFT substrate and a touch electrode layer. The TFT substrate has a surface formed thereon plural switch devices, plural second touch traces and plural conductive pads. Each switch device has plural touch TFT switches. The touch electrode layer includes plural first touch traces and plural touch sense electrodes divided into plural groups each having at least one touch sense electrode, and each group is corresponding to one of the conductive pads.     Abstract: A sensing apparatus for touch and force sensing includes from, top to bottom, a protection layer, a touch electrode layer, a force electrode layer, and a resilient dielectric layer, and further includes a capacitance sensing module. In touch sensing operation, the capacitance sensing module sequentially or randomly applies a touch driving signal to selected ones of the second touch electrodes, and sequentially or randomly receives a touch sensing signal from selected ones of the first touch electrodes.     Abstract: An electronic apparatus with independent power sources includes a functional circuit, a plurality of touch sensing electrodes, at least one force sensing electrode and a force and touch sensing circuit, wherein the functional circuit and the force and touch sensing circuit are powered by a first power source and a second power source different with the first power source, respectively.
