A sealed space is formed between the inner sealing portion and the outer sealing portion. A tracer gas for performing a leak test of the outer sealing portion is enclosed in the sealed space. An amount of outwardly leaked tracer gas, which leaks from the sealed space through the outer sealing portion, is measured with a leak test device.

    摘要: A variable toe angle control system for a vehicle that can be incorporated with a fail-safe mechanism When a fault of the system is detected, at least one of toe-angle actuators is actuated to make toe angles of two wheels agree with each other. When one of the wheels has become fixed in position without regard to a control signal supplied to the corresponding actuator, the actuator for the other wheel is actuated so as to make the toe angles of the two wheels equal to each other. When at least one toe-angle sensor is found faulty, the actuators are both actuated until the actuators reach positions corresponding to stoppers. When information for determining target values of the toe angles of the right and left wheels is found faulty, the actuators are both actuated until the actuators reach positions corresponding to prescribed reference toe positions.

    摘要: An evaporator/expansion valve unit for use in an automotive air conditioning system, comprises an evaporator which includes first and second parallely extending elongate tanks and a plurality of flat hollow elements mounted on the first and second elongate tanks. The interior of each element is in a fluid communication with the interior of each tank. The first tank is formed with inlet and outlet openings. A block type expansion valve has a first passage which is closed when a spherical valve body abuts against a given part of the first passage against a certain force applied thereto and a second passage which has a temperature sensing means by which the certain force is varied in accordance with the temperature of a refrigerant flowing in the second passage. The first passage has an outlet opening connected to the inlet opening of the first tank. The second passage has an inlet opening connected to the outlet opening of the first tank. The expansion valve has the first tank directly mounted thereon.

The opening of the frame is disposed in front of a display to form a plurality of optical paths by pairs of light-emitting and -receiving elements, respectively, in front of the display screen of the display, and a position at which optical paths are blocked is detected to specify a coordinate position on the display screen, thereby inputting the coordinate position. The coordinate input device is provided with a recess for blocking the propagation of light toward the light-receiving element side.
