摘要： A LAN signal transmission method and a transmission apparatus using the method are disclosed. A first transmission apparatus extracts only a data section of a LAN signal that is received, and accommodates the data section in a digital wrapper signal. Link information between a first LAN apparatus is accommodated in the overhead of the digital wrapper signal, and the digital wrapper signal is transmitted to a second transmission apparatus. The second transmission apparatus extracts the data section of the digital wrapper signal and the link information from the overhead of the digital wrapper signal that is received. The LAN signal that contains the data section and the link information is constituted, and transmitted to a second LAN apparatus. If the extracted link information indicates “link down”, the LAN signal to the second LAN apparatus is shut down, and the link information concerning the second LAN apparatus indicating “link down” is masked, the link information being transmitted to the first LAN apparatus.

摘要： At least one recognized keyword is presented to a user, and the keyword is corrected appropriately upon receipt of a correction for the presented result. A standby-word dictionary used for recognition of uttered speech is generated according to a result of the correction to recognize the uttered speech. Therefore, even if recognized keywords contain an error, the error can be corrected and uttered speech can be accurately recognized.

摘要： A voice recognition device is provided to improve a recognition rate for objective recognition terms on display. The device includes a voice pickup unit for picking up user's voices, a storing unit for storing a plurality of objective recognition terms, a display unit for displaying a designated number of objective recognition terms stored in the storing unit and a voice recognition unit. The voice recognition unit has a weighting section for weighting the objective recognition terms on display more heavily than those not on display, and a calculating section for calculating respective degrees of agreement between the objective recognition terms after the objective recognition terms are weighted and the user's voices are picked up by the voice pickup unit. Based on this calculating result of the degrees of agreement, the voice recognition device recognize the user's voices.

摘要： An audio input device calculates respective degrees of coincidence between a user's vocalizations and recognition terms in a voice dictionary by speech recognition and extracts a recognition term having the highest degree of coincidence from the voice dictionary. Further, the audio input device outputs a command to operate one of installations, such as radio, CD player, air conditioner, etc. The audio input device includes a remote controller for transmitting signal waves to the installations equipped with receivers to carry out remote control of the installations. In operation, the larger the installation which the remote controller is directed to has a receiving intensity of the signal wave detected byte receiver, the larger the audio input device makes an extraction weight of the recognition terms concerned with the installation, in the voice dictionary.

摘要： A pedestal unit usable for a raised floor is disclosed which comprises: a pair of beams; and a pair of pedestal frames for supporting the beams at both ends of the beams, respectively. Each pedestal frame comprises: a pair of leg members; a pair of base plates for supporting the leg members; respectively, and a connecting member with a predetermined length for rigidly connecting the legs member each other with a predetermined interval. The pedestal frame may be installed under a middle portion of the beams, which frame may be installed after installation of pedestal frames at ends of beams for easy adjustment. Additional pedestal frames for supporting additional beams may be fixed to the pedestal frames or the beam. A supporting surface of leg member may have a mount provided by casting and be cut for accurate dimensions.

The parabolic mirror 7 used as the second collimator has a focal length which is longer than a focal length of the lens used as the first collimator.
