    摘要: The invention relates to a panoramic attachment optical system and a panoramic optical system for taking an image having a full 360°-direction angle of view or projecting an image at a full 360°-direction angle of view. These optical systems are reduced in size and flare light and improved in resolving power. A panoramic attachment optical system 10 attached to the entrance side of an image-formation lens 20 to form a full 360°-direction image on an image plane 30 comprises a transparent medium that is rotationally symmetric about a center axis 1 and includes at least two internal reflecting surfaces 12, 13 and at least two refracting surfaces 11, 14. A light beam enters the transparent medium via the refracting surface 11, and reflects at the internal reflecting surfaces 12 and 13 in this order to leave the transparent medium via the refracting surface 14, forming an image at a position of the image plane 30 off the center axis 1 via an image-formation lens 20. The internal reflecting surfaces and the refracting surfaces are each of shape rotationally symmetric about the center axis 1, and a light beam 2 coming from far way forms an image at least one time.

    摘要: The invention relates to a display system wherein a Fresnel lens that forms an eyepiece optical system is curved to correct for decentration aberration, whereby a display screen can be wholly observed even in a decentered state. In the display system, an object image is projected via a relay optical system 2 near the eyepiece optical system 1 so that the exit pupil E1 of the relay optical system 2 is projected via the eyepiece optical system 1 onto an observer's pupil position E0. The eyepiece optical system comprises an optical element having a Fresnel surface. The eyepiece optical system 1 and relay optical system 2 are located such that an axial chief ray emerging from the relay optical system 2 is obliquely incident on the eyepiece optical system 1. The axial chief ray is defined by a light ray emerging from the center of the object, and passing through the relay optical system 2 and then through the center of the pupil E1 of the relay optical system 2. The optical element that forms the eyepiece optical system 1 is curved such that decentration aberration of pupil aberrations occurring at the eyepiece optical system 1 is corrected.

    摘要: An image display apparatus allows an image from a single image display device to be led to two eyes without using a half-mirror, thereby allowing observation of a bright image, and facilitates correction of various aberrations. A viewing optical system includes a left ocular part, a right ocular part, and an optical path distributing part for leading a light beam from a single image display device to the left and right ocular parts. The left and right ocular parts each have at least two reflecting surfaces. The optical path distributing part has at least one pair of reflecting surfaces for left and right optical paths. These reflecting surfaces are formed from rotationally asymmetric curved reflecting surfaces having the function of correcting decentration aberrations. The left and right optical paths of the viewing optical system are formed by optical surfaces arranged so that the left and right optical paths are not in plane symmetry with each other but in 180-degree rotational symmetry with respect to only a normal line passing through the center of the image display device.
