摘要: An adjustable steering column for a motor vehicle may comprise a rotatable steering shaft that has a shaft part that can be displaced axially along its axis of rotation. The shaft part may be rotatably mounted in a jacket tube that is mounted in an axially sliding manner in a guide box held on a retaining part fixed to the vehicle body and can be displaced by means of an electric motor. The adjustable steering column is improved with respect to a small installation space of the electrical adjustment in conjunction with high strength of the steering column. A gear rack may be attached to an outer face of the jacket tube. Also, the electric motor may be fastened to the guide box and may drive a worm gear that protrudes through an opening in the guide box towards the jacket tube and meshes with the gear rack.

摘要: A vehicle steering column includes a support unit and by which an actuator unit is held in which a steering spindle is mounted to rotate about a longitudinal axis. An adjustment drive is disposed between the support unit and the actuator unit and by which the actuator unit is adjustable. The adjustment drive has a threaded spindle which engages in a spindle nut and has a spindle axis. The spindle nut and the spindle are drivable by a servomotor to rotate in a mutually relative manner. The servomotor has a motor shaft which is coupled to a drive gear which is rotatable about a drive axis and which operatively engages with an output gear which is rotatable about the spindle axis and is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the spindle nut or the threaded spindle. The drive axis and the spindle axis are disposed mutually parallel.

摘要: An energy absorption element for a steering column of a motor vehicle may comprise a deformation element, a first fastening element, and a second fastening element. The deformation element may be connected to the first fastening element and to the second fastening element and is arranged in a force flux with respect to a force that can be exerted on the first fastening element relative to the second fastening element. To achieve improved security against damage due to unauthorized use or inadvertent damage and, in the process, requiring little outlay on manufacturing and installation, a predetermined breaking element may be connected to the first and second fastening elements parallel to the deformation element in the force flux.

摘要: A steering column may include an outer casing unit in which an inner casing tube that rotatably mounts a steering shaft is received such that the inner casing tube is displaceable and fixable in an axial direction. An energy absorption device operatively disposed between the casing tube and the casing unit may absorb at least some energy in a crash event where the casing tube is telescopically displaced relative to the casing unit. The energy absorption device may include a deformation strip fastened to but spaced apart from the casing tube, fixed in a radial direction by a spacer on the casing tube, to which deformation strip a deformation slide that is connected to the casing unit is disposed. The deformation slide may encompass and jam outer narrow sides of the deformation strip such that the deformation slide deforms the deformation strip in a crash event.

摘要: A steering shaft axially mounted rotatably in a shell and a guide part by which the shell is held. An energy absorption device arranged between the guide and shell has a bending wire coupled by a first end to the shell and a second end to the guide. A rail is attached to the shell. A pin is coupled to the guide. The second end of the bending wire has a coupling section that engages behind the pin and is braced at a support point on the side wall in the event of a crash and the support point is arranged on the side of the pin gripped by the coupling section. The pin has a first spacing from the side wall. A second spacing between the pin and the support point measured axially is at least 1.1 times the first spacing.

摘要: A sensor device may be utilized to detect an angular position of a rotating shaft that is rotatably supported in a housing. The sensor device may include a transducer magnet that is attached to a supporting part that is connected to the rotating shaft. The supporting part may be joined to the transducer magnet by an ultrasonic weld. The ultrasonic weld may be bonded and shape-locking. The supporting part may be configured as a sonotrode during creation of the ultrasonic weld. Further, an exterior of the supporting part, which can be a supporting rod, may comprise cross knurling or longitudinal knurling.
