    摘要: According to one embodiment, a method of manufacturing an organic EL device includes providing a structure including a substrate and an electrode positioned above the substrate, and forming an organic layer including a mixture of first and second organic materials above the electrode. The first organic material has a first sublimation point. The second organic material has a second sublimation point higher than the first sublimation point. The formation of the organic layer includes heating an evaporation material including a mixture of the first and second organic materials to an evaporation temperature so as to sublimate the first and second organic materials, and delivering the sublimed first and second organic materials toward the electrode to deposit a mixture including the first and second organic materials above the electrode. The evaporation temperature is, for example, a temperature higher than the second sublimation temperature by 50° C. or more.

    摘要: In one embodiment, a driving circuit includes first, second, third and fourth transistors each having first and second electrodes, and a control gate electrode. First and second input signals for producing alternating current voltage are inputted to the respective first electrodes of the first and second transistors. The first electrode of the third transistor and the second electrode of the fourth transistor are commonly connected with an output terminal. The second electrode of the third transistor and the first electrode of the fourth transistor are respectively connected with first and second voltage sources. The control gate electrodes of the third and fourth transistors are respectively connected with the second electrodes of the first and second transistors. The driving circuit further includes first and second potential holding devices to control the switching operation of the third and fourth transistors to output the first and second voltages.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display device includes an array substrate, a counter substrate and a liquid crystal layer held between the array substrate and the counter substrate. A display portion having a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix is formed of the substrates and the liquid crystal layer. Each of the pixels includes a pixel electrode and a counter electrode arranged opposing to the pixel electrode. A driving portion is formed on the array substrate to supply a pixel voltage to the pixel electrode. A correcting circuit is formed on the array substrate to correct the voltage supplied to the pixel electrode by adding a predetermined DC voltage to the voltage supplied to the pixel electrode corresponding to gradations to be displayed in the pixel.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display device includes a plurality of common electrodes arranged so as to counter pixel electrodes extending in the row direction on a substrate. First and second voltage supply lines to supply first and second voltages to the common electrodes are connected with the common electrodes through a first switch circuit. A second switch circuit is arranged between the first voltage supply line and signal lines to switch a connection between the first voltage supply line and the signal lines. A gate open circuit is connected to scan lines to simultaneously supply a signal to switch on the pixel electrodes to all the scan lines. In case the power supply of the liquid crystal display device is turned off, a control circuit starts the power OFF driving operation to set the potential of the pixel electrode and the common electrode to substantially same by switching the first and second switch circuits.

The polarity of the bit signal is controlled to alternate the liquid crystal voltage, and a transmittance of the liquid crystal layer is changed by supplying the alternated liquid crystal voltage.
