摘要: A tape support for an automatic wrapper includes a main frame and an internal frame. The internal frame is keyed onto the main frame and has four corners. A corner block is keyed to each corner of the main frame. A guide blade assembly is pivotally keyed onto two vertical sides of the main frame, and an adjustment assembly is keyed onto two vertical sides of the main frame. The corner block has three sides. One is concave, and the others form a right angle. The guide blades face each other and wrap around the internal frame. The arms of the adjustment assembly face each other and wrap around the blade assembly. A brush is mounted on the free ends of the adjustment assembly to guide the tape to the middle by its retaining force when the tape passes through the brush.

摘要: A strapping unit for wrapping a tightening strap around a packaged item has a base plate, a tensioning device, a sealing device and separating means. The base plate is provided with a bearing surface for arranging on a packaged item. The tensioning device with which a strap tension can be applied to the tightening strap is provided with an actuable tensioning tool which can be brought into contact with the strap. The tensioning tool is being fastened releaseably to the strapping unit by at least one fastening means. The sealing device is provided with a single- or multi-part sealing tool with which two strap layers can be connected permanently to each other by contact with the strap. The sealing tool is being fitted on the strapping unit by at least one releaseable, further fastening means. The separating means with which the strap can be severed has a blade which can be brought into contact with the strap. At least part of the separating means is being fitted releaseably on the strapping unit by at least one further, releaseable fastening means. A plurality of the fastening means are of a design which enables said fastening means to be actuated by the same tool. Worn parts can therefore be swapped with very little maintenance effort.

摘要: A strapping machine for positioning a strap material around an associated load and tensioning the strap material around the load includes a frame for supporting the load, a chute positioned on the frame for receiving the strap material and orienting the strap material around the load, a strap supply and a strapping head for extracting the strap from the supply, feeding the strap through the chute around the load, passing the strap from the chute around the load, retracting and tensioning the strap. The strapping head includes feed rollers and retraction rollers for feeding and retracting the strap and a winder for tensioning the strap around the load. The winder is positioned between the feed and retraction rollers and the strap supply. The winder includes a rotating head portion having a stationary element and a pivotal element. The stationary and pivotal elements each define an outer surface around which the strap material is wound and a slot therebetween for receiving the strap material. The stationary and pivotal elements each further define a gripping portion at about respective ends opposingly facing one another. The pivotal element is pivotal between an open position in which the gripping portions are spaced from one another and a closed position in which the gripping portions cooperate with one another to engage and secure the strap material therebetween. The winder rotates from a home position in which the winder is in the open position and an other than home position in which the winder is in the closed position to exert a tension in the strap.

摘要: A binding wire guide mechanism in a binding machine has a bend guide member which is provided at the outlet of a straight guide member. The bend guide member has a wire receiving surface which receives a wire fed through the straight guide member in such a manner that the wire abuts obliquely against the surface. The angle of abutment of the wire with respect to the wire receiving surface is made adjustable. As the front end portion of the wire is bent while abutting against the wire receiving surface, the remaining portion of the wire is also bent; that is, the wire is continuously bent, thus forming a wire loop. The bend guide member is short, providing a free space at the front. Therefore, the wire can be positively wound around the articles with ease, which contributes to an improvement of the operating performance of the binding machine.
