    摘要: The present disclosure is directed to a tool setting management system and method that provides a tool having a tool setting that a user cannot modify by directly physically manipulating any tool setting modification device of the tool and that enables the user to modify the tool setting using a device wirelessly connected to the tool. Generally, the tool setting management system enables a user to wirelessly pair a user device with a tool. The tool has at least one modifiable tool setting, but does not include any component physically manipulatable by the user to modify the tool setting. Once paired with the tool, the user device enables the user to input a tool setting modification, and sends the tool setting modification to the paired tool. Upon receipt, a controller of the paired tool modifies the stored tool setting in accordance with the received tool setting modification.

    摘要: A strapping apparatus for strapping articles with a strapping band includes a base plate having a base surface for arranging on an article, a tensioning device for applying a band tension to the strapping band, the tensioning device having an actuable tensioning tool which can be brought into and out of contact with the band and a sealing device to permanently connect two band layers to each other. The sealing device includes a counter-holder surface for bearing against one side of the band and a sealing head for bearing against another side of the band while a seal is produced, and a clamp for clamping the band in the strapping apparatus. The strapping apparatus also produces a twist of the band in a band section adjoining the sealing device during production of the seal with respect to a longitudinal direction of the band.

The punch mechanism includes a punch guide having a passageway and a punch tool movably positioned in the punch guide.     摘要: A gripping mechanism for securing an end of a wire during tying with a wire tying system is provided. The gripping mechanism may secure a first end of a wire strap around a bale of recycled material during knotting of the wire strap. As such, the gripping mechanism includes a gripping lever having a contact region adjacent the first end of the wire strap. In embodiments, the contact region includes at least one surface feature configured to secure the first end of the wire based on pivoting of the gripping lever. In further embodiments, the contact region of the gripping lever disengages the wire based on rotation of the gripping lever in a first direction. Further, the contact region of the gripping lever may engage against the first end of the wire based on rotation of the griping lever in a second direction, during actuation of the gripping mechanism.

The spring positions the pin at about an outer edge of the track when the movable wall is moved away from the fixed wall.
