摘要： A lid for a drinking container includes a lid body, a poppet mouthpiece and a resilient sealing member. The lid body defines a longitudinal axis and includes an outer surface with a vent hole. The mouthpiece seals against a first inner surface of the lid body via an annular seal ring. The mouthpiece is movable between a closed position and an open position to allow fluid inside the container to flow through the mouthpiece. The sealing member is fitted on the lid body to sealingly engage the lid body to an open end of the container. The sealing member includes an annular flange sealingly engaging a second inner surface of the lid body. The flange includes a groove that defines a location on the lid where ambient air flowing into the vent hole can enter a container interior as fluid flows out of the container through the mouthpiece.

摘要： A composite lid of a cylindrical container includes an outer metal lid having an integral top wall and sidewall and an inner plastic lid having a top wall and sidewall fitted inside the outer metal lid such that a free end of the sidewall of the inner plastic lid extends beyond a free end of the sidewall of the outer metal lid. The composite lid can be fitted on a base having an integral bottom wall and sidewall such that the sidewall of the inner plastic lid frictionally engages the sidewall of the base. The outer metal lid can be formed by stamping sheet metal, the inner plastic lid can be formed by molding a polymer material and the base can be formed by molding a polymer material. The outer metal lid can be adhesively bonded or mechanically fitted to the inner plastic lid.

A flexible membrane is sealed to the peripheral rim and a valve is attached to the membrane for venting gases from the interior of the container body. An overcap is provided to cover the access opening and be retained in the container rim adjacent the membrane. A bottom surface of the body of the overcap includes a continuous surface pattern thereon, with the surface pattern creating a plurality of gaps that define a continuous passageway along the bottom surface to the periphery of the overcap.

The gas pathway may be of closed cross-section extending through the annular region. Alternatively the gas pathway may be of open-sided cross-section and provided in the counterface. Yet alternatively the annular region may comprise a washer, with the gas pathway provided at least partly in the washer and/or at least partly in the remainder of the annular region. A gas permeable, liquid impermeable sealing foil for bonding to a container rim is also disclosed.

摘要： A refilling unit for a dispenser containing a liquid or pasty media has a container which can be ventilated. A dosing pump is placed on the neck of the container. A first valve is provided in a transition from the neck to the dosing pump and a second valve on a discharge opening of the dosing pump. The dosing pump contains an elastic part having the first non-return valve. The elastic part encircles a lower peripheral collar of the neck and an annular lip thereof resting on the interior of the neck. The dosing pump further has a second elastic part containing the second non-return valve and encloses a delivery space. The second elastic part extends over the first part and encircles at least one upper peripheral collar of the neck. Recesses in the peripheral collars and at the front of the neck leave an airway into the container.

An intermediate ridge or layer that abuts or is proximal to the interior edge of the container lip is implemented to prevent the disc from significantly moving laterally and to also center the venting disc within the container mouth. The gap(s) forms a channel in the disc to allow gases to escape between the edge of the container mouth and the container cap. The simplicity of design allows for easy manufacture and simple placement in a container, such as for a jar or bottle.

The vented package includes a base member having a fluid passage therein and an overcap having an aperture therein to allow venting of product vapors which escape from the dispensers. The dispenser includes a container body, a mounting member fitted on the container body and a dispensing head such as an applicator head movably mounted on the mounting member. The mounting member includes an axially extending closure member with a pin member thereon. The dispensing head includes an aperture and a skirted chamber beneath the aperture, the skirted chamber including slits for controlling flow of material into the skirted chamber from the container body. The dispensing head is movable from an open position to a closed position wherein the closure member fits within the skirted chamber and the pin member fits within the aperture.
