    摘要: In a pneumatic conveyor comprising multiple, assembled conveyor sections, a conveyor section provides a curved conveyor path with a plenum through which pressurized air is delivered. The conveyor section includes a top plate including a series of apertures extending therethrough for delivering pressurized air from the plenum to an upper surface of the top plate. The apertures are arranged and configured to direct the pressurized air to move an article along the top plate in a conveying direction. A bottom plate is located beneath the top plate. A first stack of vertically aligned, individual strips are clamped together between the top plate and the bottom plate to define a first sidewall of the plenum. A second stack of vertically aligned, individual strips are clamped together between the top plate and the bottom plate to define a second sidewall of the plenum.

The installation includes a silo for the bulk material. The silo includes a pressure vessel or pump delivering machinery which is connected with a conveying line. A plurality of receiving vessels are connected with the conveying line via valves in the vicinity of the furnace loads. The receiving vessels are connected to the plurality of loads of the furnaces by at least one pneumatic conveying chute or pneumatic pipe channel. Each conveying chute or pipe channel includes at least one discharge per load.

The partial target flow rates are reunited at the respective target points at the latest. To adjust the target flow rate at a target point at a specific level, individual partial supply lines leading to this target point are alternatively kept shut-off or open.

    摘要: Apparatus for cooperation with an associated coal burning furnace which includes a Y-shaped distributor body having one inlet and first and second outlets and a splitter disposed in the body for dividing flow between the first and second outlets. The splitter has a generally V-shaped contour and the splitter comprises a base on the housing and a liner assembly mounted on the base. In some forms of the invention the liner assembly has a surface that is harder than the surface of the housing and the housing includes a removable access panel. The access panel may be dimensioned and configured to allow passage of the liner assembly into and out of the housing. The liner assembly may comprise an outer shell having at least some foamed material disposed therein and may include anchoring means disposed in the foamed material. In other forms of the invention the anchoring means may be dimensioned and configured for engagement with the housing to anchor the liner assembly against the foamed material and the base may include a mounting surface that is generally planar and disposed in generally normal relationship to the direction of flow into the inlet. The base may have diverging sides dimensioned and configured for engaging the liner assembly and the anchoring means may include a plurality of eyebolts.
