    摘要: A flow splitter for distributing agricultural products may include a splitter body defining an inlet port and a plurality of outlet ports. The flow splitter may also include at least two baffle plates positioned within the splitter body so as to divide an internal flow chamber of the splitter body into a plurality of downstream flow channels. Additionally, the flow splitter may include a divider plate positioned within the splitter body upstream of the baffle plates such that the divider plate is spaced apart from upstream edges of the baffle plates in a direction of the inlet port of the splitter body. The divider plate may be configured to initially divide an input flow of agricultural product received at the input port into two separate product flows for subsequently delivery into the plurality of downstream flow channels.

    摘要: An improved air handing system for a particulate metering system is provided. The system includes a flow path with an inlet in communication with an intake and an outlet in communication with one or more discharge points. A blower can be in communication with the flow path at the intake and provide an air flow to the flow path. The system can include a plenum within the flow path and in fluid communication with the blower. A plurality of ports can be disposed on the plenum and within the flow path. Each of the ports can be in communication with a discharge point. The system can further include air flow directing members within the flow path. Each of the air flow directing members can be in communication with a separate one of the ports and one of the discharge points.

A pair of laterally extending slave outlet conduits extend obliquely upward and each has a jumper hose connecting with an adjacent slave unit. The flow circulating within the annular region allows seeds to fall downwardly and air to spiral upwardly into a supplemental air conduit. An air bypass passageway conveys air flow from the supplemental air conduit toward the slave outlet conduits.

    摘要: A flow splitter distributes solid particles flowing in a fluid, such as coal particles flowing in air, through a piping system. The flow splitter includes a divider housing having an inlet configured to connect to an upstream pipe and having an outlet configured to connect to a plurality of downstream pipes, e.g., by way of a divider head. A divider body is mounted within the divider housing. A plurality of divider vanes is included, each extending from the divider body to the divider housing. The divider housing, divider body, and divider vanes are configured and adapted to reduce non-uniformity in particle concentration from the inlet and to supply a substantially equal particle flow from the outlet to each of the downstream pipes.

    摘要: A commodity splitter for granular agricultural material includes a chamber having a central section located between an input port and multiple output ports. The central chamber section includes upper and lower planar walls joined by parallel, vertical side walls. First individual upright diverting fins are joined to and extend towards the bottom wall from the upper wall and have respective lower longitudinally extending edges spaced above upper longitudinal edges of second individual upright diverting fins joined to and extend toward the upper wall from the lower wall. The first and second upright fins, respectively, together with the top and bottom walls and opposite side walls form upper and lower vertically spaced material directing channels for directing material from the input port to the outlet ports. The space between the upper and lower channels defines a blockage preventing and pressure-equalizing open area.

    摘要: Disclosed is a pipe divider for pipes used to convey solids of small particle size or dispersions, constructed such that a feed pipe leads into a distributor chamber, two distributor pipes lead away from this chamber and two tubes which can be pressurized by means of compressed air are provided in the distributor chamber between the feed pipe and the distributor pipes on both sides, for selectively blocking one of the branch paths. The feed pipe leads tangentially into the cylindrical distributor chamber, the distributor pipes lead tangentially away from the distributor chamber, and the distributor chamber includes an internal cylinder to which the tubes are mounted in such a way that they surround the internal cylinder. Owing to this special arrangement, only low mechanical and/or corrosive stresses occur.
