摘要： A device for shipping suspensible piece goods has an elongated trolley which can travel along an overhead rail. A rod is fixed to either longitudinal end of the trolley and depends from the latter. The end of each rod remote from the trolley has an upwardly open hook-shaped portion. A carrier is removably suspended on the hook-shaped portions and has a cutout which allows goods to be suspended from the carrier. Once the carrier has been loaded, the entire shipping device can be placed in a truck for transport as a unit. A downwardly open hook-shaped element projects laterally of the carrier from the hook-shaped portion of each rod. These hook-shaped elements can be used to suspend the shipping device from a bar in the truck. Since the hook-shaped elements are located laterally of the carrier, the shipping device tilts to one side when it is suspended from the bar. The shipping device and its suspended goods then take up less room in the vertical direction thereby increasing the loading capacity of the truck.

摘要： This invention relates to a collapsible transporter module, and the method of using same, for transporting large volumes of unpackaged goods in spaced padded relationship in conventional transportation vehicles such as trains, trucks, ships or containers. The transport module consists of a mounting for the module in the transportation vehicle; a rigid upper frame suspended from the mounting; a plurality of vertically elongate collapsible support members having an upper end and a lower end, the upper end being attached to the upper rigid frame; and a plurality of vertically spaced apart shelf members supported from the support members. When not loaded with goods being transported, the transporter module may be stored in a collapsed mode, thereby allowing the transportation vehicle to return the transporter module to the goods supplier, together with a new payload.

摘要： The present invention refers to a transport apparatus in particular for internal, suspension transport systems of the type including a runner rail system and roller sets having rollers interconnected by a depending member. The apparatus has rail-shaped carrier members for supporting, in a suspended condition, transport material on a carrier member support surface. The carrier members are releasably suspendable at both ends from the roller sets, via suspension rods connected to the carrier members at transversely extending pivot axles, and the roller sets rest on the runner rail system. The pivot axles are perpendicularly displaced relative to the longitudinal axis of the carrier member to such an extent that the suspension rods can be folded into contact with a carrier member support surface by pivoting 90.degree.. Clamping grooves are provided on the pivot axles to secure the folded suspension rods. The carrier members include troughs to receive hooks of additional carriers, and toothed racks.

摘要： The invention relates to a carrier structure for a suspension conveyor system, provided with load-bearing shelves mounted for adjustment between a horizontal carrying position and a space-saving storage position. It is intended to improve a carrier structure of this type so that in the carrying configuration the goods to be conveyed are prevented from dropping down, while still permitting the carrier structure to be readily converted to a storage configuration in which it requires little space.A carrier structure satisfying these requirements comprises a rear wall, sidewalls hingedly connected thereto, load-bearing shelves hingedly connected to the rear wall so as to fold flat thereagainst, and adapted to be supported by the sidewalls in a horizontal position, and suspension means connected to upper portions of the sidewalls in spaced relationship to the rear wall and mounted at a variable spacing relative to one another and to a carrier bar so as to permit the angular position of the sidewalls relative to the rear wall to be varied between a parallel folded position and a substantially right-angle position. In the storage configuration the carrier structure thus forms a substantially flat package. In the carrying configuration, each load-bearing shelf is surrounded by walls on three sides whereby the goods to be conveyed are substantially prevented from dropping down. The folding operation from one configuration to the other is made possible in a simple manner by varying the distance between the suspension means. In a preferred embodiment this variation of distance is accomplished in a simple manner by shifting eyelets along a rod.

The conveyor trolley comprises a pair of upper track-supported wheels and pairs of lower wheels engageable with and rotatable at times upon the underside surfaces of the track, the upper wheels being rotatably mounted on stub axles secured to the upper portions of the trolley arms, the lower wheels being rotatably mounted on bearing portions integrally formed in intermediate portions of the trolley arms, and a pendant member secured to and between the lower portions of the trolley arms. The lower wheels lie in a plane below and substantially parallel with the plane of the upper wheels.
