摘要: A bulk loading system for delivering bulk material to a storage compartment of a bulk transport vehicle through a hatch opening includes a movable positioner supporting an extendable loading spout assembly, a camera coupled to the positioner and a programmable logic controller communicatively coupled to the positioner, loading spout assembly and camera for automatically positioning the loading spout assembly over the hatch opening and filling the storage compartment of the vehicle with bulk material. The system provides accurate position information to a driver of the vehicle so that the vehicle and its storage compartments can be quickly positioned within a reach zone of the loading spout.

摘要: The invention relates to a method of reloading consignments, in the case of which consignments are transported between at least one logistics center and at least one end customer by means of at least one large vehicle and at least one small vehicle, which may be at least two-axle road vehicles, wherein the small vehicle is electrically operated and has a smaller track width and a lower load capacity than the large vehicle. In order to enable efficient logistical linking of end customers in urban areas, it is provided that at least the following steps may be carried out: reloading consignments between a large vehicle and the logistics center, performing a journey of the large vehicle between the logistics center and a reloading location, reloading consignments between the large vehicle and a small vehicle at the reloading location, performing a journey of the small vehicle between the reloading location and at least one end customer, and reloading consignments between the small vehicle and the at least one end customer.

摘要: An Urban Intermodal Freight System is capable of transporting large volumes and tonnage of freight by containerized or other means on a mass transit rail system. It captures excess capacity in the existing mass transit rail infrastructure to move packages, parcels, and freight by using miniaturized intermodal cargo containers that are designed to integrate seamlessly with the existing transit infrastructure, while displacing delivery trucks from increasingly crowded city streets. By enabling inbound trucks to transfer their cargo to the Urban Intermodal Freight System at a city's outskirts, freight is delivered without trucks entering congested downtown areas, greatly alleviating traffic congestion, delays, greenhouse gas emissions and other negative environmental impacts. The Linear Loading Dock and Conveyor System may have other useful applications, for example to access a facility, building or vehicle, or in other circumstances where off street truck parking or loading docks are not available.

When the load is positioned on the bed, a distance from the lower surface of the load to an upper surface of the pin socket is greater than a distance from the lower surface of the load to an upper surface of the rotation pin.

摘要: The present technology provides a cargo adapter that can be inserted into a passenger compartment of a mixed-use vehicle that can be anchored to existing anchor points in the vehicle. The cargo adapter can then receive, secure, and support a cargo locker in a way that safely secures the cargo and avoids wear on the interior surfaces of the passenger compartment.
