摘要: An exit device located in a door frame having a door strike including a latchbolt assembly, a pushbar assembly, and a link assembly. The latchbolt assembly includes an extended position configured to engage the door strike, and a retracted position configured to move past the door strike. The pushbar assembly moves from a released position to a pressed position to move the latchbolt assembly from the extended position to the retracted position. The link assembly is operatively connected to the pushbar assembly and includes a security link having an elongated aperture and a pin configured to extend through the elongated aperture about which the security link rotates. A keeper surrounds the pin and supports the security link for rotation. In the event of extreme heat, the keeper melts and the security link moves to a position to substantially prevent opening of the door.

摘要: A locking device assembly for a door located at a door frame. The locking device assembly includes a door strike assembly including a magnetized ferromagnetic material and a latchbolt assembly located at the door. The latchbolt assembly includes a latchbolt and a magnetic field sensor, wherein the magnetic field sensor senses a magnetic field provided by the door strike assembly. The door strike assembly includes, in different embodiments, a magnet located in a frame of the door strike assembly or a magnetic roller. The magnetic field sensor includes a magnetometer configured to determine the presence of a magnetic field provided by the door strike assembly. In the event that the door strike assembly has been removed to defeat the locking device, the lack of the magnetic field indicates that a security condition exists. An alert is provided to indicate the existence of the security condition.

摘要: An exit device employs a pair of projectable latches which are retractable by depressing a push pad. A latch actuator is mounted between the latches and is actuatable to retract the latches. In one embodiment, the actuator comprises a pair of solenoids controlled from a remote location. In another embodiment, the actuator comprises a motor which is activatable from a remote location for unlatching the door. In addition an exterior operator is mountable and connectable to the latch actuator to provide controlled access from the exterior of the door.

摘要: A locking device for a door located at a door frame having a door strike. The locking device includes an actuator having a neutral position and a displaced position, and a latchbolt assembly having an extended position configured to engage the door strike, and a retracted position configured to move past the door strike. The latchbolt assembly includes a latchbolt link configured to move the latchbolt in response to movement of the actuator. A first dampening device is disposed adjacent to the latchbolt link, with the dampening device resiliently engaging the latchbolt link as the latchbolt link moves from the retracted position to the extended position. The first dampening device limits movement of the latchbolt link. A second dampening device is configured to restrain movement of the latchbolt during movement from the retracted position to the extended position.
