    摘要： An exit device located in a door frame having a door strike including a latchbolt assembly, a pushbar assembly, and a link assembly. The latchbolt assembly includes an extended position configured to engage the door strike, and a retracted position configured to move past the door strike. The pushbar assembly moves from a released position to a pressed position to move the latchbolt assembly from the extended position to the retracted position. The link assembly is operatively connected to the pushbar assembly and includes a security link having an elongated aperture and a pin configured to extend through the elongated aperture about which the security link rotates. A keeper surrounds the pin and supports the security link for rotation. In the event of extreme heat, the keeper melts and the security link moves to a position to substantially prevent opening of the door.

    摘要： A security door system includes a door jamb, a door, and a deadbolt mechanism. The door jamb includes a soffit and an aperture defined in the soffit. The deadbolt mechanism is mounted to a surface of the door and out of a plane of the door such that a deadbolt of the deadbolt mechanism is operable to project into the aperture in a locked position. In various implementations, the deadbolt mechanism may be mounted to the surface of the door by attachment members such as bolts that extend through attachment member apertures in the door. Shock absorbent material may be variously positioned around the attachment members in the attachment member apertures and may absorb at least some shock from a force applied to the deadbolt mechanism.

    摘要： A lock assembly includes an exterior operator assembly, an interior operator assembly, and a latch assembly. An outer spindle is operatively coupled to a latch assembly, is drivably coupled to the interior operator assembly, and has a longitudinal bore. A coupling mechanism is coupled to the outer spindle. A locking spindle assembly is rotatably received in the longitudinal bore, and is configured to selectively operate the coupling mechanism to couple the exterior operator assembly to the outer spindle upon actuation of a drive assembly. The locking spindle assembly has a fire compliant component made of a first material that melts during a fire to prevent operation of the latch assembly with the exterior operator assembly, and has a fire resistant component made of a second material and configured to block the longitudinal bore of the outer spindle to aid in preventing the spread of the fire through the door.
