    摘要: A lamp receptacle of a projection apparatus includes a receptacle body defining a receiving space, and having a peripheral wall and an upper opening. The peripheral wall is formed with an aperture. A fixing element is attached securely to the peripheral wall above the aperture, and protrudes into the receiving space. A filter glass is disposed in the receiving space behind the aperture in the peripheral wall. A holding frame is disposed behind the filter glass, and has a central hole aligned with the aperture. A mounting arm has a vertical section integrally formed with an upper section of the holding frame, and a horizontal section extending frontward from the vertical section to overlap and fasten the upper fixing element, thereby retaining the holding frame in such a manner to urge the filter glass to abut against the peripheral wall around the aperture.

    摘要: A light amount-adjusting device has a base plate with an optical path aperture, first and second blade members, and a driving unit for swinging open and close the blade members. Each blade member has a base-end portion and a front-end portion. The base-end portion is pivotally held on the base plate. The front-end portion faces the aperture. First and second boss-like protrusions project from the base plate and from the surfaces of the blade members. The protrusions are coupled to define the heightwise positions of the blade members in the direction of the optical axis. The vertically overlapping blade members pivotally supported on the base plate can be swung open and closed without interfering with each other. The device produces less frictional load when the aperture is opened and closed, and thus less noise.

    摘要: A light shielding heat-resistant sheet material has a film substrate sheet of a polyethylene naphthalate resin and/or a polyimide resin, and a two-component curable polyester resin paint coated on one or both surfaces of the film substrate. The two-component curable polyester resin paint has a polyester resin as a principal agent, an isocyanate compound as a curing agent, and a black pigment. The sheet material can be used as a blade member in a light amount regulating apparatus to be incorporated in an optical equipment, such as a projector. The blade member resists deformation by heat and has reduced weight, and thereby enables secure light amount regulation while operating smoothly and quietly.

    摘要: A projection display apparatus generates image light by modulating, with an image signal, light emitted from a light source disposed in a lamp house, and projects the generated image light onto a screen. The projection display apparatus has an air inlet duct for introducing air, to cool the light source, into the lamp house and an air outlet duct for expelling the air discharged from the lamp house out of the projection display apparatus. The air outlet duct has an opening defined in a side wall thereof, and a lid pivotally mounted thereon for selectively opening and closing the opening. The lid is not opened under normal pressure in the air outlet duct when the light source operates normally, and is opened when an abnormal pressure buildup higher than the normal pressure is applied to the lid, thereby releasing the pressure buildup.

    摘要: In an image projection on a screen, an image projection apparatus improves the safety of entry into a projection region by the human body and does not bring about the increase of complexity of the configuration thereof owing to the improvement of the safety. A monitoring area is regulated on the outside of the projection area (3) of the screen (2). A detection wave such as infrared rays is emitted from a detection wave source (1c) of the image projection apparatus (1). A reflection wave from the monitoring area is detected by reflection wave detection means (1d) such as a CCD sensor. Whether the human body or an obstacle enters the monitoring space, which is surrounded by a detection wave (4) between the main body unit of the image projection apparatus (1) and the screen (2), or not is detected. Once the entry is detected, the intensity of the radiation light traveling toward the projection area (3) is reduced or cut off according to the situation or the degree of the entry.
