    摘要： A three-position hinge, for mounting a leaf portion to a center portion of a folding table so as to be pivotable between upward, horizontal, and downward positions closely spaced to the center portion, includes a first mounting plate secured to one horizontal surface of the center portion, a recess formed adjacent the first mounting plate recessed into the center portion, a first pivot member integral with the first mounting plate having a pivot pin positioned in the recess, a second mounting plate secured to the leaf portion, and a second pivot member integral with the second mounting plate and provided with a pivot sleeve which is coaxially mounted on the pivot pin. The pivot axis of the pivot pin is positioned equidistant from the upper and lower plane surface and the lateral edge of the center portion in order to maintain the close spacing in the three positions.

    摘要： A hinge assembly is disclosed which is particularly well suited for vehicle accessory application such as for vehicle sun visors for example. A hinge assembly according to the present invention includes a rod member interconnected with the vehicle interior or other fixed member. A generally hollow elongated sleeve member is interconnected with a movable member and is adapted for longitudinally receiving the rod member for relative rotation therewithin. A resilient biasing member, which is preferably a leaf-type spring, is received within the sleeve member for resiliently biasing the rod member laterally against the interior surface of the sleeve member in order to provide a frictional relative rotational engagement between the rod member and the sleeve member. The leaf spring, the rod member, and the sleeve member in preferred embodiments of the present invention are configured and arranged to provide detented positions at predetermined relative rotational orientations of the pivotally interconnected members, to which the movable member is self-propelled whenever it is rotated into relatively close rotational proximity with such predetermined pivoted orientations.

    摘要： A door hinge for furniture is made up of a box-like part designed to be set within or inset into a recess in a door from its back side, and has a spring-powered or pressed bolt for acting on a cam face at the end of an L-like support arm. The arm is fixed to the body or frame of a piece of furniture so that in one (or two) positions where the cam face has an inwardly offset of cut-out portion, the bolt will be responsible for a detent effect to keep the door in a shut position or in shut and or open positions. The L-like support arm is fixed to the body of the piece of furniture by way of a base or mounting plate having a guiding mounting ledge for cooperating with one leg of the support arm. The one leg portion has a wedging face and is responsible for guiding the support arm parallel to itself for changing the height of the arm. The arm is mounted on the base plate in position for normal use by a metal screw or the like. For limiting opening of the door, a box for the hinge has a limiting or stop face designed to abut against a face of the support arm.

    摘要： This is a door mounting consisting of a pair of hinges, each hinge having a component for mounting in the frame and a component for mounting on the door. The top hinge has a member for the door with a part-spherical recess for a corresponding head on a pin depending from the member on the frame so that the pin acts as a universal joint which can support the whole weight of the door. The lower hinge comprises depdning pins from the bottom edge of the door and a plate for sinking in the floor and having two arcuate slots, one for each of the depending pins. One or other pin defines a lower pivot point to one side of the top hinge axis and the other runs on its arcuate slot. The door can open either way and has a self-closing force.
