摘要： There is disclosed a one-hand openable and closable umbrella which does not cause relative rotational movement and displacement between an inner shaft and an outer shaft. The inner shaft has a U-shaped groove extending in the lengthwise direction thereof and the outer shaft has a convex block provided inside a lower nest mounted on the top of the outer shaft. By the engagement of the convex block of the outer shaft with the U-shaped groove of the inner shaft, the inner and outer shaft neither turn nor displace relative to each other when the latter slides on the latter. Moreover, since a plastic sleeve is put on the upper end portion of the inner shaft inside a spring mounted thereon, any frictional force between the spring and the inner shaft and between the spring and an upper nest can be decreased, by which the umbrella can be smoothly opened and closed.

Further, a safety member is provided for prevent the umbrella from opening by accident.

摘要： Support means for foldable structures of the type having a roof of foldable material and a vertical mounting shaft staking perpendicularly to the ground. The interlocking support means consists of upper and lower interlocking members. A plurality of horizontal ribs are pivoted and clamped in the interlocking support means so that the ribs are held horizontally, but can fold down along the vertical shaft for transportation. The ribs have a channel cross-section. A rope extends from the end of one rib through the rib channel, through the interlocking mounting means and then through a second rib, whereby the ends of the rope may be used to stake down the structure and support side walls.

摘要： This invention relates to a pneumatic umbrella especially one of which the plunger in the middle section of the barrel will force the air to flow from the lower chamber to the upper chamber through the throttle valve and cause the piston in the upper section to push the sliding hub up to unfold the umbrella when the lower section is pushed up by the hand. When the operating button is depressed, the plunge will be pulled down by the spring and the piston will be sucked down with the sliding hub to fold the umbrella. When the knob set in the bottom cap is turned to some degree and the air release button at the bottom of the knob is depressed, the barrel can be collapsed one section inside another for easy carrying.

摘要： First and second elongated coaxial tubular members are slidably related for relative longitudinal movement. The first member carries a cylindrically shaped pivot block to which are pivoted a plurality of circumferentially spaced pivot pieces, for pivotal movement towards and away from the first member. A collapsible umbrella canopy supporting rib extends from each of such pieces. A cup shaped member is attached to the second member and operates simultaneously against the pieces to move them away from the first member and extend the ribs outwardly in canopy supporting position upon relative longitudinal movement of the members.
