摘要: A dispensing apparatus for dispensing fluid is disclosed. A fluid contained in a canister is pressurized by a moveable partition driven by spring means mounted within the canister. The canister is mated to an injection nozzle to allow fluid flow from the canister though the nozzle and possibly into a body to be provided with fluid. A preferred embodiment of the dispensing apparatus is for dispensing fluid or treatment chemicals into trees and plants.

摘要: Disclosed is a chemical additive dispensing device for use with a station of a sprinkler-based irrigation system that includes a fluid diversion housing and a container for storing a chemical additive. The fluid diversion housing includes an in-flow channel formed therein that is in fluid communication with an input port and the container. An out-flow channel is also formed within the fluid diversion housing and is in fluid communication with an output port and the container. In operation, the container fills with fluid from the in-flow channel such that the fluid mixes with the chemical additive. Once the container is filled with fluid, the mixture of fluid and chemical additive is diverted through the out-flow channel of the fluid diversion housing to the outlet port such that the fluid chemical additive mixture is distributed to the rest of the irrigation system and particularly through sprinklers onto a lawn and/or plants.

摘要: A fire fighting adapter that converts a conventional back pack blower, which has a discharge tube with a free end through which blown air is provided, into a water and foam fire fighter. The adapter includes a housing and a diffuser unit. The housing attaches to, and communicates with, the free end of the discharge tube of the conventional back pack blower to receive the blown air therefrom. The diffuser unit is contained in the housing, and diffuses the water and the foam to engage with the blown air from the free end of the discharge tube of the conventional back pack blower so as to be propelled by the blown air out of the housing.

摘要: The object of the invention is to provide a method and a dispenser in which, compared with known dispensers, the fluid path design is simplified. The dispenser has a medium reservoir (19) containing a medium to be discharge during one discharge stroke of the dispenser (11). For this purpose a feed fluid flows through the medium reservoir and discharges the medium through a reservoir discharge opening. For producing a discharge stroke, the dispenser has an actuator (25), whose actuation at least indirectly leads to an impact spike (29) penetrating from the outside into the medium reservoir (19), so as to produce a connection between a pump (40) for a feed fluid and the medium reservoir. As a result of the pressure of the feed fluid flowing into the medium reservoir, at a point in the medium reservoir (19) differing from the entry point of the impact spike (29), an opening is formed.

摘要: The foam based product solution delivery apparatus is simple in structure and operation and makes use of pressurized gas to power a pressure operated pump to draw the water/foam-concentrate/product(s) from supply tank(s) and propel the resultant solution (foam fluid), with pressurized gas injected therein, through an agitation apparatus that mechanically agitates the water/foam/product(s) solution to create the foam based product solution for transmission to the foam delivery apparatus. Interposed in the delivery apparatus between the pump and the outlet end of the hose, the agitation apparatus functions to significantly increase the foam expansion prior to delivery of the foam through the delivery apparatus. The agitation apparatus comprises an exterior housing inside of which is mounted a set of motionless mixing blades that function to mix and expand the foam. The agitation apparatus not only produces a high expansion of the foam but it also produces a more consistent bubble structure which enhances both the longevity and adhesion of the foam when applied to a structure.

摘要: The present invention relates to an apparatus which permits a user to operate a compressed-air foam generating apparatus by activating a single valve which initiates all necessary pressures and flows to create and discharge a flow of compressed-air foam. By use of a master valve to control gas pressure from a gas pressure source and by routing of this gas for pumping and mixing operations, the user opens the master valve to initiate apparatus operation producing compressed-air foam flow and dispensing through a dispensing hose.

摘要: A portable fire suppression system which uses cold compressed air foam to extinguish fires. A solution suitable for generating foam is mixed with air in an expansion manifold where the foam is supercharged and expands up to 40 times original volume. The foam is discharged out a nozzle controlled by a charge valve which controls flow rate and moisture content of the foam. The fire suppression system is mounted on a compact sturdy frame capable of withstanding parachute drops to remote sites, and includes a frame with a hitch and wheels for ground mobility.
