The mechanism may include various components include one or more pressing portions, one or more ribs, one or more discharge rollers, a switching mechanism and the like. In one arrangement, ribs and pressing portions configured to create the corrugated shape may be disposed at various locations upstream or downstream of the platen, recording portion and/or nozzles thereof. In one example, pressing portions may be disposed both upstream and downstream of the nozzles of the recording portion to maintain a corrugated shape in the conveyed sheet. Various other configurations may be used.

Providing the printed pattern may involve depositing water based inks using a digital inkjet printer. The water based inks may be pigment containing inks. The dry weight of the deposited pigment containing inks may be lower than 9 grams per square meter. The paper layer may include an inkjet receiver coating, such that the inks are deposited on the inkjet receiver coating. The inkjet receiver coating may include a pigment having a pore volume of 0.5 to 3 ml/g.

    摘要: A modular textile printing apparatus is made up of multiple modules which are combined together. Each module has one rail for bearing a printing functional unit such as a print head. A second rail perpendicular to the first rail faces the first rail, and carries a printing tray or platen holding items to be printed. The tray moves along the rail. A third rail parallel to said second rail and facing away from the printing functional unit, is also for carrying the tray. The modules are connected together and the apparatus provides a starting point for loading and unloading the trays. The second rails are aligned with each other to form a continuous printing feed along the modules and the third rails are aligned to provide a return path after printing to the starting point for reloading.
