摘要： A passive defense system that utilizes a plurality of high intensity visible lights to reduce the number of targets in view of attacker(s) or aggressor(s) and to disorient and possibly incapacitate the attacker(s) or aggressor(s). The defense system includes a plurality of high intensity light sources controlled by a control system that can be activated by physical switches, by a central control station, by remote access, or even automatically by a gunshot detection sensor. The light intensity, placement of lights, and strobe effects produce a system to deter or defeat armed attackers or other aggressors.

摘要： A junction box cover assembly for attachment over an opening in an electrical junction box allows for a concealed connection to avoid detracting from the lighting fixture. The assembly includes a cover plate capable of being mounted to a junction box, the'cover plate having an opening there through defined by a first threaded collar extending from the cover plate, a hub having a flange radially extending from a periphery of a second threaded collar defining a passage and configured to attach to the first threaded collar of the cover plate, and a circular insert detachably connected within the passage defined by the threaded collar, the circular insert having an opening for passing electrical wiring from the junction box through the passage, out the insert opening and to a light fixture. The cover plate and the radially extending flange somewhat sandwich a surface, such as drywall or wallboard, and the flange is configured to permit covering with spackling paste or joint compound to conceal the flange.

摘要： A modular troffer-style fixture particularly well-suited for use with solid state light sources. The fixture comprises a reflector that includes parallel rails running along its length, providing a mount mechanism and structural support. An exposed heat sink is disposed proximate to the reflector. The portion of the heat sink facing the reflector functions as a mount surface for the light sources. The heat sink is hollow through the center in the longitudinal direction. The hollow portion defines a conduit through which electrical conductors can be run to power light emitters. One or more light sources disposed along the heat sink mount surface emit light toward the reflector where it can be mixed and/or shaped before it is emitted from the troffer as useful light. End caps are arranged at both ends of the reflector and heat sink, allowing for the easy connection of multiple units in a serial arrangement.

摘要： An operating lamp and a method for adjusting light spots in an operating field of an operating lamp are disclosed. The operating lamp includes a first lighting unit, a second lighting unit, and a control unit. A light beam emitted by the first lighting unit forms a first light spot having a first equivalent diameter in an operating field, and the first light spot have a light distribution that meets an operating lamp standard. A light beam emitted by the second lighting unit forms a second light spot having a second equivalent diameter in the operating field, and the second light spot have a light distribution that does not meet the operating lamp standard. The second equivalent diameter is greater than the first equivalent diameter. The control unit is configured to control working states of the first lighting unit and the second lighting unit, and enable the operating lamp to provide the first light spot or a synthetic light spot having a light distribution that meets the operating lamp standard and is formed by the first light spot and the second light spot.
