    摘要: A swash plate type hydraulic pump or motor has a first swash plate (30) and a second swash plate (40) which cause a first piston (8) and a second piston (9), respectively, to move reciprocally, opposing each other, so as to expand and contract a volume chamber (10) according to rotation of a cylinder block (4). A rod shape valve body (60) is disposed pushed into a through hole (12) of a shaft axis of the cylinder block (4) so as to be free to rotate relative to the cylinder block (4). A pair of supply and discharge ports (61) that open and supply high pressure and low pressure, respectively, are formed in an outer circumferential surface of the valve body (60). A cylinder port (11) is formed connecting the volume chamber (10) and an inner circumferential surface of the through hole of the cylinder block. The cylinder port (11) is arranged in a position opposite to the supply and discharge port (61).

    摘要: A combined mode hydrostatic transmission comprises a differential hydraulic motor and a variable capacity hydraulic pump for supplying this motor with pressurized oil. The differential hydraulic motor comprises a swash plate connected to an output shaft and a cylinder block joined to an input shaft. Further provided are a brake which selectively brakes the rotation of the cylinder block and a clutch which selectively interrupts the input rotation to the cylinder block. When the brake is operated and fluid is supplied from the variable capacity hydraulic pump with the clutch disengaged, the differential hydraulic motor functions in a HST mode. When the brake is released, the clutch is connected and fluid is supplied from the variable capacity hydraulic pump, the differential hydraulic motor functions in a HMT mode.

    摘要: A neutral centering spring mechanism (71) is provided for a variable displacement hydrostatic pump (25) of the type of which control of the displacement occurs in response to rotation of a control shaft (101;101'). Disposed about the control shaft is a pair of preferably identical actuator members (111,113), each of which is in engagement with a pin (115) such that clockwise rotation of the control shaft rotates one actuator member (111) while counter-clockwise rotation of the control shaft rotates the other actuator member (113). Each actuator member defines a movable stop surface (131,137), which are in engagement with fixed stop surfaces (133,139). A single torsion spring member (121) surrounds the actuator members, biasing both actuator members toward the neutral position. The neutral centering spring mechanism of the invention is relatively insensitive to manufacturing tolerances, is simple and inexpensive to manufacture, and may easily be disposed within the pump housing (29) where it is more protected from corrosion and damage, and is lubricated.
