摘要： A level transmitter for liquid containers, particularly fuel store tanks, comprising a housing in which a contactless sensor is arranged which is connected with an evaluating unit and operatively connected with a magnet that moves relative to the sensor when a float arranged at a first end of a lever moves so that the change of the magnetic field acting upon the sensor is transformed into an electric signal so that an output signal corresponding to the level of the liquid in the container is obtainable by the evaluating means. The magnet is configured at least as a segment of an annular magnet that is arranged at a second end of the lever and integrated therein.

Also disclosed is the method for manufacturing the float of this invention including the steps of milling acrylonitrile rubber, phenolic resin, sulfur and various additives in a Banbury mill and mixing at an elevated temperature below 250°, compression molding at up to 900 psi pressure between 250° and 350° F., cooling and filling pre made protective skin container with the mixture, closing the container and heating the sealed container to bond the mixture to the container skin.

摘要： A fuel level sensor for sensing and monitoring the level of remaining fluid in a container such as a fuel tank for a motorized vehicle is disclosed. The fuel level sensor incorporates an improved float and pivot arm member attached to a hub that rotates about a pivot base. The conventional resistor card technology, commonly found in automotive applications for translating the position of the float into an electrical signal, is replaced by a more reliable non-contact magnetic flux sensing circuit. The fuel level sensor incorporates a magnetic sensor and magnetic circuit in a commonly known and practiced rotational position sensor configuration for determining the angular position of a hub relative to its pivot base, where the hub is attached to a conventional float-arm member and the base remains stationary relative to the fuel container. The preferred embodiment includes a magnetic flux sensor positioned between two movable magnets. The magnetic flux sensing element is a Hall effect integrated circuit, magnetoresistor, magnetodiode, magnetotransistor, or similar magnetic flux sensing element with associated electronic circuitry having adjustable or programmable features including ratiometry, gain, offset voltage, temperature coefficient, and output signal range limiting. Critical electronic components are hermetically sealed making the fuel level sensor fully submersible in fuel for long term fuel exposure.

摘要： A latching fluid level switch which includes an elongated shaft member having a lower end and an opposite upper end with both ends containing a buoyant float member. The upper end is pivotally anchored to a tank wall and capable of having its lower end being moved between two distinct angular positions depending on the level of the liquid in said tank acting on said float member and having a first higher buoyancy angular position representing a high liquid level endpoint, and a second less buoyant angular position representing a lower liquid level endpoint. The float is maintained at each distinct angular position such that once triggered at one liquid level endpoint the float will maintain and hold that angular position until reversibly triggered at the other liquid level endpoint.

摘要： The level of ink present in an ink-supply cartridge of an ink-jet type printer is detected by a sensor that moves with the reciprocating pen carriage of the printer. A flag is connected to the collapsible supply cartridge so that the flag position changes relative to the path of the carriage movement as ink is depleted from the cartridge. The sensor detects the presence of the flag and the position change of the flag is precisely measured by the carriage motion control system. An indicition of the cartridge level derived from the flag position is provided.

摘要： A level measuring device for measuring the level of a liquid in a container. The device has an elongated support which extends approximately horizontally into the container and is fastened at a fastening end 6 to a wall 3 of the container while its other resting end 3 rests under initial spring pressure against the bottom 2 of the container. On the support there is fastened a carrier 12 on which a mechanical-electrical transducer is disposed and on which there is pivotally mounted a lever 13 which bears a float 14 and acts on the transducer. The support is developed as an elastic spring in the region between its fastening end 6 and the carrier 12.

摘要： A sensor is coupled to a reservoir for generating a first signal responsive to the liquid level therein falling below a first level spaced above an output port and indicative of a reserve level of liquid remaining. A pump is coupled to the reservoir for pumping the liquid therefrom in metered volumes and responsive thereto transmitting a volume pumping signal. An integrator receives and integrates the volume pumping signal, and then generates, after receiving the first signal, an output signal indicative of the volume of the liquid remaining in the reservoir. An indicator is coupled to the integrator for displaying the output signal.
