    Abstract: A display may have an array of pixels each of which has a light-emitting diode such as an organic light-emitting diode. A drive transistor and an emission transistor may be coupled in series with the light-emitting diode of each pixel between a positive power supply and a ground power supply. The pixels may include first and second switching transistors. A data storage capacitor may be coupled between a gate and source of the drive transistor in each pixel. Signal lines may be provided in columns of pixels to route signals such as data signals, sensed drive currents from the drive transistors, and predetermined voltages between display driver circuitry and the pixels. The switching transistors, emission transistors, and drive transistors may include semiconducting-oxide transistors and silicon transistors and may be n-channel transistors or p-channel transistors.

    Abstract: A device may include a display for displaying an image frame based on warped image data and image processing circuitry to generate the warped image data by warping input image data to account for one or more distortions associated with displaying the image. The image processing circuitry may include a two-stage cache architecture having an first cache and an second cache and warp the input image data by generating mapping data indicative of a warp between the input image space and the output image space and fetching the input image data to populate the first cache. Warping may also include populating the second cache with a grouping of pixel values from the first cache that are selected according to a sliding window that traverses the first cache based on the mapping data and interpolating between pixel values of the grouping to generate pixel values of the warped image data.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a technique for implementing a framework that enables application developers to enhance their applications with dynamic adjustment capabilities. Specifically, the framework, when utilized by an application on a mobile computing device that implements the framework, can enable the application to establish predictive models that can be used to identify meaningful behavioral patterns of an individual who uses the application. In turn, the predictive models can be used to preempt the individual's actions and provide an enhanced overall user experience. The framework is configured to interface with other software entities on the mobile computing device that conduct various analyses to identify appropriate times for the application to manage and update its predictive models. Such appropriate times can include, for example, identified periods of time where the individual is not operating the mobile computing device, as well as recognized conditions where power consumption is not a concern.

    Abstract: Reducing power consumption in an electronic device can include analyzing device usage data associated with the device to predict an extended period of user inactivity, the usage data including at least one of historical usage data and present usage signals and entering an enhanced reduced power state by implementing one or more power saving optimizations for at least a portion the extended period of extended user inactivity, the one or more power saving optimizations slowing, delaying, or interrupting one or more normal activities normally performed by the device. The method can further include exiting the enhanced reduced power state by suspending the one or more power saving optimizations. Exiting the enhanced reduced power state can be performed in response to at least one of: user activity; a specified user routine; or a time predicted by the analyzing device usage data.
