Abstract: A key management method serves as an electronic control unit (ECU) in an onboard network system having a plurality of ECUs that perform communication by frames via a network. The method includes storing a shared key, acquiring a session key, and executing encryption processing using the session key. The method further includes executing inspection of a security state of the shared key stored in a case where a vehicle is in at least one of the following particular states: the vehicle is not driving and is an accessory-on state; a fuel cap of the vehicle is open, and the vehicle is not driving and is fueling; the vehicle is parked, which is indicated by the gearshift; the vehicle is in a stopped state before driving, which is indicated by the gearshift; and a charging plug is connected to the vehicle, and the vehicle is electrically charging.

Abstract: A transmission apparatus includes M signal processors that respectively generate modulated signals directed to M reception apparatuses, M being an integer equal to or greater than 2, and an antenna section. Each signal processor modulates a first bit sequence made up of two bits to generate a first modulated signal and a second modulated signal, and modulates a second bit sequence made up of other two bits to generate a third modulated signal and a fourth modulated signal, in a case of transmitting multiple streams to a corresponding one of the M reception apparatuses. The antenna section includes a first antenna that transmits the first modulated signal and the third modulated signal and a second antenna that transmits the second modulated signal and the fourth modulated signal. At least either the signals transmitted from the first antenna or the signals transmitted from the second antenna are phase-changed signals.

Abstract: In the present invention, regarding a narrowband used in a subframe for transmitting uplink data, if a switch is made from a first narrowband used in a first subframe to a second narrowband that is different from the first narrowband, with respect to a second subframe continuing to the first subframe, a final one symbol of the first subframe and an initial one symbol of the second subframe are punctured and set as a retuning time to transmit the uplink data in the first narrowband and the second narrowband.

Abstract: A transmission device includes a first mapper, a second mapper, a converter, a superposer, and a transmitter. The first mapper is configured to map a first bit stream of a first data series to generate a first modulated symbol stream. The second mapper is configured to map a second bit stream of a second data series to generate a second modulated symbol stream. The first modulated symbol stream and the second modulated symbol stream are representable on a complex plane extending in a first direction and a second direction. The converter is configured to convert the second modulated symbol stream in accordance with the first modulated symbol stream only in the first direction on the complex plane. The superposer is configured to superpose the first modulated symbol stream and the second modulated symbol stream converted by the converter, at an amplitude ratio, to generate a multiplexed signal.

Abstract: A dictation device includes: an audio input device configured to receive a voice utterance including a plurality of words; a video input device configured to receive video of lip motion during the voice utterance; a memory portion; a controller configured according to instructions in the memory portion to generate first data packets including an audio stream representative of the voice utterance and a video stream representative of the lip motion; and a transceiver for sending the first data packets to a server end device and receiving second data packets including combined dictation based upon the audio stream and the video stream from the server end device. In the combined dictation, first dictation generated based upon the audio stream has been corrected by second dictation generated based upon the video stream.

Abstract: When an STA receives first to fifth SSW frames (first training frames) transmitted from an AP, the STA measures reception quality thereof, and transmits a reception quality measurement result to the AP by incorporating the reception quality measurement result in an SSW-ACK frame (first feedback frame). In response, the AP selects a beam pattern satisfying a specific selection criterion based on the reception quality measurement result and employs the selected beam pattern as the transmission beam pattern for use in transmission to the STA.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to transmission and reception of data in a wireless communication system, the wireless communication system supporting aggregation of a plurality of component carriers and an additional carrier accessible by a listen before talk approach. In particular, monitoring is performed of a search space on a cross-scheduling component carrier for detecting downlink control information having a carrier identification field indicating the cross-scheduling component carrier as well as for detecting downlink control information with the carrier identification field indicating the additional carrier, wherein the search space is specified by a subset of resources, associated with carrier identification of the cross-scheduling component carrier but is not associated with carrier identification of the additional carrier. Then data are transmitted or received on the carriers in accordance with the received downlink control information.
