A vehicle roof is proposed having a roof opening system (12) which comprises a cover element (16) by means of which a roof opening (14) can be optionally closed or at least partially opened and which interacts, in the closed position, with a separating device which surrounds the roof opening (14) and separates a wet area from a dry area, wherein the cover element (14) comprises, on both sides with respect to a longitudinal central plane of the vehicle, a front, driven sliding element (24) which lies in the dry area and is guided in a first guide device (30), and a rear sliding element (28) which lies in the wet area and is guided in a second guide device (32). According to the invention, the rear sliding elements (28) are actively driven by means of a drive device (46) in a coupling-free fashion with respect to the front sliding elements (24), so that said rear sliding elements (28) move in the second guide devices (32).

A soft top for a motor vehicle, lockable on a windshield frame by a latch disposed on a forward soft top section and swivelable to a locked position, the soft top movable to a rearward stowed position once the latch has been swiveled into an unlocked position. A locking mechanism provides a catch hook on the vehicle body swivelable between a releasing position and a blocking position, in which the same engages with a catch hook engaging part that is mounted on the soft top or the vehicle body when the soft top is in the blocked state. The locking mechanism is fitted with a spring device, against the spring force of which the soft top runs into the stowed position, while the catch hook can be swiveled into the released position by means of the locking drive in order to release the locking mechanism.

According to the invention, the sensor further comprises a conductor path structure connected in an electrically conductive manner to the convertible top rod system so as to form a sensor electrode. The invention further relates to a method for installing such a sensor device. Furthermore, the invention relates to a conductor path structure, in particular a flexible and substantially flat conductor path structure. According to the invention, said structure can be attached to a convertible top rod system, in particular to one or more links of a link system of the convertible top rod system, wherein the conductor path structure can be connected to the convertible top rod system in an electrically conductive manner via one or more contact regions.

The invention relates to an openable vehicle roof which comprises at least one cover element (18) which is guided in lateral guiding rails (20B), by means of which said roof opening can be selectively closed or at least partially opened, and an anti-blocking device which guides along the guiding rails (20B). In order to offer active anti-blocking protection for vehicle passengers, the anti-blocking devices are formed, respectively, by a strip-shaped switching device (28) which interacts with respective guiding rail (20B) and which is connected to the control element of a cover element drive.

A retractable roof includes a roof member 2 including a front roof panel 21, a back roof panel 22, and a linkage mechanism 4 for alternately chaining the position of the roof member 2 between an in-use position and a storage position. The retractable roof further includes an adjusting mechanism 51, 52 for adjusting the geometry in the in-use state of the linkage mechanism 4 by changing the angle of the turning direction of one of links 44 included in the linkage mechanism 4 in the in-use state.
