摘要： A claw-pole type stepping motor comprises: a rotor assembly shaped substantially cylindrical, and having a center shaft; and a stator assembly composed of two cup-shaped stator units which are coupled to each other coaxially so as to axially sandwich the rotor assembly, and which each include a bobbin having a magnet wire wound therearound, and two pole tooth arrays magnetically connected to each other and shifted in phase from each other by an electrical angle of 180 degrees. In the motor, each stator unit further includes a cover ring which protects the magnet wire wound around the bobbin against resin injected when the stator unit is resin-molded for an integrated solid structure. The motor structured as described above can be successfully resin-molded so as to enable elimination of a motor case, thus achieving downsizing for the dimension of the eliminated motor case while maintaining a sufficient mechanical strength.

摘要： A method for subduing a fire (70) is disclosed. This method is performed by operating a jet turbine (20), having an exhaust (22), to direct the exhaust (22) into a moving front of the fire (72), generally against the movement of the front of the fire (72). A retardant (30), preferably dust, is directed from a supply tank (40) into the exhaust (22), through a pressurized conduit (42). Alternately, dust or other material (32) is lifted from the land around the fire (70) and blown into the fire (70), extinguishing the fire (70) or decreasing its intensity. To completely extinguish the fire (70), it may be necessary to further douse the fire with either or both water and a second retardant.

A user may depart from a scheduled program or depart from a broadcast and enter a unicast, at will. The user may subsequently rejoin a scheduled replay or broadcast.

Each of the sash windows (14, 16) are mounted within opposed guide rails (20) on a master frame (22) wherein at least one of the sash windows is slidable within the frame (20) relative to the other sash window. The sash window assembly (12) further includes a keeper (26) for mounting on a rail of one of the sash windows. The keeper (26) includes a keeper surface (26a). The sash lock (10) includes a locking assembly (28) for mounting on an adjacent rail of the other of the sash windows. The locking assembly (28) includes a housing (30) having an aperture (32), an actuator arm (34) having a shaft (38) disposed along a rotational axis and within the aperture (32) of the housing (30), and a cam (36) having a cam surface (36a) for engaging the keeper surface (26a) of the keeper (26). The cam (36) also includes an engagement member (40, 52) to engage the shaft (38) of the actuator arm (34). The housing (30) of the locking assembly (28) includes two alignment tabs (33) that are each adapted to engage one of two alignment surfaces (26d) of the keeper (26).

摘要： A collapsible grill and stand which can be used indoors over a fireplace, having a grill stand which makes it possible to position and support the grill member over the burning logs, charcoal or gas within the fireplace and under the flue so the smoke, gases, odors and heat are exhausted to the outside through the flue and do not enter the interior of the room or building. The stand includes an upright center post having a vertical passageway in which a telescoping insert is received, such insert having a laterally extending arm, at the outer end of which the grill member is secured. Three support legs extend laterally from the lower end of the upright post, two of which are pivotable to enable positioning the legs in a radially spread apart configuration that will support the grill member at the outer end of the laterally extending arm over the fire in a fireplace. A vertical height adjusting mechanism is provided to adjust the height of the grill member over the fire. The laterally extending arm is rotatable through a limited arcuate path. A rotation limiting assembly is provided to limit the rotation of the laterally extending arm and grill member on its outer end to prevent the grill and stand from becoming unbalanced and tipping over.
