摘要: Existing and future standardized VDSL2 and other systems can be integrated into and used with a vectored DSLAM or other vectored or non-vectored DSL system, without a new user disrupting service to other users in the same or a nearby binder, in some cases by using transmit power, CARMASK and/or PSDMASK DSL capabilities to reduce both downstream and upstream training-signal levels so that training of a new DSL line is non-disruptive, despite a lack of knowledge of the pre-existing binder. For vectored systems, the crosstalk from that tone can be observed, learned and then added to the vectoring system so that any subsequent excitation on that tone would be eliminated by vector processing. A second tone then can be added in the same way, etc. In non-vectored DSLs that might be operating in a binder or line set, once these non-vectored lines are observed to be present, a vectored line set controller, such as a DSL optimizer, then can anticipate the potential interference from such non-vectored lines.

摘要: Provided are an apparatus and a method for diagnosing permanent magnet demagnetization of a permanent magnet synchronous motor. The apparatus includes a magnetic field generating unit, a stator current measuring unit, and a demagnetization diagnosing unit. The magnetic field generating unit generates magnetic fields of which directions are respectively parallel to a predetermined direction among a plurality of directions passing through a rotation axis of a rotor, on a plane vertical to the rotation axis of the rotor which is in a standstill. The stator current measuring unit measures currents which flow in a stator winding in correspondence with the respective generated magnetic fields. The demagnetization diagnosing unit compares a predetermined reference value and a comparison value which is calculated on the basis of the magnitudes of the stator winding currents which are measured in correspondence with the respective generated magnetic fields to diagnose demagnetization of a permanent magnet attached to the rotor.

摘要: Estimates of a communication system configuration, such as a DSL system, are based on operational data collected from a network element management system, protocol and users. The operational data collected from the system can include performance-characterizing operational data that typically is available in the OSL system via element-management-system protocols. Generated estimates and/or approximations can be used in evaluating system performance and directly or indirectly dictating/requiring changes or recommending improvements in operation by transmitters and/or other parts of the indication system. Data and/or other information may be collected using internal means or using system elements and components via e-mail and/or other extra means. The likelihood of the models accuracy can be based on various data, information and/or indicators of system performance, such as observed normal operational data, test data and/or prompted operational data that shows operating performance based on stimulation signals.

摘要: A programmable gain MOS amplifier is disclosed. The programmable gain MOS amplifier is capable of increasing its programmable gain linearly in dB unit by increasing its gain level data linearly. The programmable gain MOS amplifier includes a plurality of gain providers for providing predetermined gains respectively, and a plurality of gain tuners. Each of the plurality of the gain tuners is disposed for adjusting the predetermined gain from the corresponding gain provider. Each of the gain tuners includes a gain enabling module and a gain decreasing module. The gain enabling module allows the corresponding predetermined gain to add to the programmable gain of the MOS amplifier. The gain decreasing module declines the corresponding predetermined gain added to the programmable gain of the MOS amplifier.

摘要: The present invention provides an optically induced cell lysis biochip, which comprises: an upper substrate made of a transparent, electrically conductive material; a lower substrate made of a transparent, electrically conductive material; a photoconductive layer formed under the lower surface of the upper substrate or on the upper surface of the lower substrate; and a chamber formed between the upper substrate and the lower substrate. When there is an electric potential difference between the upper and lower substrates, a light spot illuminated on the photoconductive layer can cause the impedance of the illuminated area to decrease, thereby causing the electric current to center on the illuminated area of the photoconductive layer. Further, the electric current flowing through the illuminated area can induce the cell lysis process of a target cell.
