摘要: System and methods for correlating members with clusters of online course content are disclosed. A server system accessing a plurality of course records associated with a plurality of courses from a database. The server system identifies, for each particular course in the plurality of courses, a list of members of the server system that have accessed content associated with the particular course. The server system applies a clustering algorithm to each course to create a third group of courses. The server system determines member demand for courses included in the third group of courses. In accordance with a determination that the member demand for courses in included in the third group of courses is equal to or greater than a member demand threshold, the server system transmits a request for additional course content to a content provider.

摘要: An online social networking system receives an unstructured job title record from a profile of a member or a job posting. The system extracts a raw job title from the unstructured job title record, and extracts a first seniority level from the raw job title. The first seniority level is a seniority modifier associated with the raw job title. The system determines a second seniority level. The second seniority level is a company seniority within the company associated with the unstructured job title record. The system determines a third seniority level. The third seniority level is a seniority score for the member or the job posting. The system compares the seniority score with a second seniority score, and communicates with the member, or transmits the job posting to the member, based on the comparison of the seniority score and the second seniority score.

摘要: A system, a machine-readable storage medium storing instructions, and a computer-implemented method are described herein are directed to a Mapping Engine that selects a candidate job title(s) from a portion of a job title taxonomy that corresponds with a job title(s) in profile data of a target member account of a social network service. For each respective candidate job title in the plurality of candidate job titles, the Mapping Engine assembles, according to an encoded rule(s) of a machine learning model for the respective candidate job title, feature vector data based in part on profile data of the target member account. The Mapping Engine calculates a probable job title score according to the machine learning model for the respective candidate job title. The Mapping Engine identifies a select probable job title score from a plurality of probable job title scores. The Mapping Engine creates an association between the job title(s) in the profile data of the target member account and a candidate job title that corresponds to the select probable job title score.

摘要: A system, a machine-readable storage medium storing instructions, and a computer-implemented method are described herein are directed to a Message Diet Engine that generates a pool of messages for a plurality member accounts of a social network service. Each message being of a respective message type from a plurality of message types and targeted to a specific member account. For each respective member account, the Message Diet Engine selects a minimum number of messages, from the pool of messages, targeted to the respective member account that prompts an expected social network activity target and avoids an expected number of complaints. Based on the selected minimum number of messages for each respective member account, the Message Diet Engine identifies a total minimum number of messages, from the pool of messages, to be sent to the plurality of member accounts that prompts an expected total social network activity target and avoids a total expected number of complaints.

摘要: In an example embodiment, for each of one or more input documents: a first value is determined for the first metric for a first transformation of the input document by passing the first transformation to s first Deep Convolutional Neural Network (DCNN), a second transformation of the input document is determined by passing the input document to a second DCNN, the second transformation of the input document is passed to the first DCNN, obtaining a second value for the first metric for the second transformation of the input document, the first and second transformations being of the first transformation type, and a difference between the first value and the second value for the input document is determined. Then it is determined whether to change the system over from the first DCNN to the second DCNN based on the difference between the first value and the second value.

摘要: Techniques for searching for future candidates are disclosed herein. In some example embodiments, a future candidate system determines one or more target candidate attributes based on user input, and identifies one or more precedent candidate attributes based on a sequential relationship between the one or more precedent candidate attributes and the one or more target candidate attributes, with the one or more precedent candidate attributes being different from and preceding the one or more target candidate attributes. In some example embodiments, the future candidate system identifies one or more candidates from among a plurality of candidates based on a determination that the one or more candidates comprise the one or more precedent candidate attributes, and causes the identified one or more candidates to be displayed on a client device.

摘要: A system, a machine-readable storage medium storing instructions, and a computer-implemented method as described herein are directed to an Event Network Engine. The Event Network Engine determines a presence of a target member account of a social networking service within a threshold distance from a physical location during an event time range. The Event Network Engine determines a presence of a second member account of the social networking service within the threshold distance from the physical location during the event time range is concurrent with the presence of the target member account. The Event Network Engine determines, based on social network member data, a relationship between the target member account and the second member account exists in the social networking service. Based on the relationship, the Event Network Engine causes a display of a notification for display on a client device associated with the target member account.

摘要: System and methods for calculating member quality are disclosed. A social networking system, for a respective member in a plurality of members, retrieves a member profile associated with the respective member from the member profile data. The social networking system generates a member quality score for the respective member. Based on the generated member quality score, the social networking system determines whether the respective member is a quality member. The social networking system selects one or more members, from the plurality of members, for a social networking related communication, based at least in part on whether the members are determined to be quality members.

摘要: A first user of a presentation machine may be a recruiter that initiates an action in reference to a first user profile. The first user profile may describe a first candidate for a job. The presentation machine may identify the first user profile and determine a similarity score that indicates a degree of similarity between the first user profile and a second user profile that describes a second candidate for the job. The presentation machine may also access a volatility score that indicates a likelihood that the second candidate is receptive to a proposal that the second candidate be employed by an employer. Based on the similarity score and on the volatility score, the presentation machine may determine a rank of the second user profile. Based on the determined rank, the presentation machine may present the second user profile to the first user.

摘要: Systems and methods for pairing electronic devices are provided. In an example embodiment, first motion capture data corresponding to a physical user motion is received from a first device. Second motion capture data corresponding to the physical user motion is received from a second device. Features are extracted from the first motion capture data and the second motion capture data. An association between the first device and the second device is determined based on a comparison of the extracted features. In response to identifying the association between the first and second device, a communicative coupling between the first device and the second device is initiated.
